Sebastian Vettel won the very first Formula One race hosted by India. He described his performance as "Fantastic" and said that he is very happy to win this race. 

"Today is a fantastic performance - It is great to be winning the first ever Grand Prix of India. To put this arena so well is fantastic. Whole in one it is fantastic. I want to thank everyone for our win," said Vettel who registered his 11th triumph of the season today. 

He also added that the circuit was very challenging and a good start to win this race race was very important. He took 1hr,30min and 35.002 sec to win this race. The average speed was 203.51 kmph. He covered his fatest lap in 1m,27.249sec at a speed of 211.463 kmph. His fastest speed-trap reading was 323.7kmph.

IBPS CWE Supplemetary Exam 2011 on 13th November- PO, MT - Admit Card/Hall Ticket

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has published a notification that it will conduct the supplementary exam for the candidates who were not allowed to appear in the written exams conducted on 18th September 2011 because they didn’t came to the centre with all the required documents. List of the documents is following:

Get consolidated eTDS / FUV file from NSDL in seconds

Friends,

Now a days it is compulsory for all tax deductors to file there eTDS quartly return. Some time after uploading these files we come to know that there are some correction like as PAN of the deductee has been wrongly entered or the gross amount or the TDS amoun has been wrongly mentioned. For all corrections like these and more the Income Tax Department has started a facility to make correction in these files. But before making correction you have to download the Consolidated eTDS/FVU file from the NSDL. You can make corrections in through this file only. 

NSDL has now started this facility of downloading latest TDS/TCS consolidated statement, incorporating all updates done via correction statements.

Pre-requisite for requesting TDS/TCS statement online.

Online request for TDS/TCS statement can be made only on successful registration of TAN (creating TAN registration account) at TIN website.

Register TAN online at TIN website. For registering TAN click link ‘Online TAN Registration’

Steps to be followed for placing the request of consolidated TDS/TCS statement

Login to TAN Registration Account with user id, password and TAN.

On successful login, under option TDS/TCS, select option “Request- Consolidated TDS/TCS statement”.

Request for consolidated TDS / TCS statement can be made for your TAN only.

On clicking the aforementioned option, provide details of statement as below for which consolidated file is required:

1.    Provisional Receipt Number of regular
2.    statement
3.    Form no.
4.    Quarter
5.    Financial Year

On successful validation of the above details, two questions related to the TDS/TCS statement requested will be asked as a part of verification.

On successful verification of answers to the aforementioned two questions, request number will be generated and the consolidated TDS/TCS statement will be e-mailed to the user on the email ID provided on TAN registration within 24 hours.

Consolidated TDS/TCS statement will be available only if correct answers are provided to the questions for verification.

Two attempts within a day will be provided to correctly answer the verification questions.

In case of two unsuccessful attempts within a day for the same statement, request for such statement can be placed on next day.

In case of large number of records in the TDS/TCS statement requested, the statement will be split in multiple files owing to restriction of mail size.

In case TDS/TCS statement is split in multiple files then each file will be sent by separate e-mail.

Using Consolidated TDS/TCS statement for preparing correction statement

Consolidated TDS/TCS statement provided will be in compressed form.

Extension of the consolidated TDS/TCS statement will be .tds

In case of single file, extract the content of the file by providing password to the file.

In case of multiple files, merge the files using FMU and then extract the contents of the merged file by providing password.

After extracting the consolidated TDS/TCS statement, import the same in the return preparation utility for making any correction

Conclusion

The facility provided by NSDL will go a long way in helping deductors file correction statements in organized and better manner.

The process of registration is simple but considering security every mail attachment from NSDL comes with password protection. This will require deductor to keep track of TAN registration number till it is activated.

The process of placing request for consolidated statement, again is little complex for the sake of security. We placed one request and we were asked two questions. One was to fill up PAN and deductee amount in respect of 5 deductees. Second question was to fill up Challan Sr No , date and amount.

The statement arrived via email within 24 hours as promised. But you can get you file in seconds.

IBPS results of Probationary Officers(PO)/Management Trainees(MT)


INSTITUTE OF BANKING PERSONNEL SELECTION has conducted the first ever Common Examination for Probationary Officers held in two sessions on 18-09-2011 for 19 national banks. The result of this exam is much awaited. But some candidates were unable to give the test as they not come with Identity Proof along with internet downloaded Call Letter. As this is first common exam, the IBPS decided to conduct supplementary exam to those candidates who failed to produce identity proof at the examination hall.  That supplementary examination for PO will be held on 13-11-2011.

The aspirants who appeared for 18-09-2011 exam has to note that this supplementary exam is also part of that previous IBPS PO notification.  The result of PO/MT of 18-09-2011 will be declared after conducting supplementary exam on    13-11-2011.  The candidates has to wait for some more days to get their result.

Anna Hazare Factor Worked in Haryana BY-ELECTIONS

After the death of Sh. Bhajan Lal, the seat of Hisar Lok Sabha was vacnt. Kuldeep Bishnoi, Son of Bhajan Lal, a Leader of Haryana Janhit Congress with alliance of BJP, Abhay Singh Chautala from INLD, and Jai Parkash Yadav from Congress party were the contestants for this seat. Sh. Anna Hazare and his team supported Kuldeep Bishnoi on the matter of Jan Lok Pal Bill. At present Congress is the ruling Party in Haryana. Chief Minister Sh. Bhupender Singh Hooda made its best efforts for Jai Parkash to win. But unfourtunately, he could not save the "JAMANAT RASHI " of Jai Parkash.

Companies and Banks to issue Form 16A from TIN-NSDL site


Friends,

Income Tax Department has made it compulsaroy for all to issue Form No. 16A if tax is deducted at source out of the payment made to any individual, company or firm. As per CBDT circular no. 03/2011 dated May 13, 2011, TDS Certificates in Form No. 16A will be generated from Tax Information Network (TIN). It is mandatory for Companies and Banks to issue Form 16A from TIN to their deductees for deductions made from April 1, 2011 (F.Y. 2011-12 onwards).

With reference to the above, this is to inform you that the utility for conversion of Form 16A text file downloaded from TIN to pdf format has been enhanced. The enhanced utility, i.e. PDF converter utility version 1.3 has been made available in your TAN account login. The following are the additional features of the said utility:

1.       The utility has a facility to digitally sign Form 16A with e-Token, DSC installed in browser and external DSC (.pfx file).

2.       The utility will generate a PAN wise summary which includes the details of PANs for which Form 16A pdf is generated as under:

·         PAN Name

·         Total Deducted Amount

·         Total Deposited Amount

Dearness Allowance incresed by 7% in State Government

The State Government of Haryana has enhanced the Dearness Rates of its emloyees by 7% from 51% to 58%. The Finance Minister of Haryana Sh. Harmohinder Singh Chattha has announced this. The rate of D.A. will be effective from July 2011. This has been declared on the pattren of Central Governement. 

A sum of Rs. 36.40 p.m. Crore will in increased due to increase in D.A. to its employees on the Government Treasure. The overall impact for this financial year will be Rs. 291.20 Crore.
