Modified Service Tax Return Form ST-3 for Quarter April 2012 to June 2012 Download for free

The Service Tax Return for the quarter April 2012 to June 2012 is to be filed all the assesses for which due date is 25th November 2012. Everyone of us was in wait of modified version of Form ST-3 to file this return. The same utility has been released by Government of India, Central Board of Excise and Customs Department. The Government is doing its full efforts for automation of Central Excise and Service Tax. 

Now all the assesses will be able to file their Service Tax return for the quarter April’2012 to June’ 2012, last due date of which is 25th November, 2012. However, such facility is available in offline mode only i.e. through Excel Utility. Assesses will not be able to fill their ST-3 data online after logging into ACES website.

Modified version of the Service Tax Return (ST3) for the quarter Apr-Jun,2012 is now available for uploading to ACES .Download Link is given below in offline version only and not online version.

In view of the implementation of the Negative List concept in Service Tax with effect from 1st July, 2012, the return filing cycle of six months (April-September, 2012) has been split. 

This new ST 3 Return will be only for the period April-June, 2012, when Negative List was not introduced. This return is available in offline utility only with view and print facility in online mode. 

The last date of filing the ST 3 return for the quarter Apr-Jun,2012 has been extended by CBEC up to 25th November, 2012 vide Order No 3/2012 dated 15th October, 2012.
  • Regarding filing of return for the period from July-September, 2012, further announcements will be made in due course. 
  • ST-3 returns for the past half- yearly return filing periods up to March, 2012 can also be filed now both through offline and online versions. 
  • Please do not wait until the last moment and file your return now to avoid congestion and inconvenience.

Your LPG Connection could be Stopped

Submit your KYC form by 31st October 2012 to avoid stoppage of Your LPG Connection.

Have you submit your Know Your Consumer (KYC) form with your LPG Distributor ? If not submit the same at the earliest but not later than 31st of October 2012 otherwise your Gas Connection will be stopped and you will not be eligible for subsidize cylinder. The Oil companies has made it compulsory to submit the KYC Form and you should also have the Blue Book in which the record of delivery of gas connection is registered. The purpose of this is to limit the subsidize cylinders and cancellation of connections in one name i.e. if you have more than one gas connection on one name, all will be cancelled except one that you want to continue.  

The All India LPG distribution Federation has issued directions to all Oil Companies to circulate these instructions to all Gas Agencies. The consumers have to submit one Photo, Address Proof and one Identity Proof with KYC form to the concerned Gas Agency. If someone has lost Blue Book, then a new Blue Book can be got prepared from the Gas Agency by making a payment of Rs. 45/- so that when vendor comes to home for delivery then entry could be made in the Blue Book. If you don't worry to make entry in the Blue Book by the vendor or you have lost the Blue Book, in that the case the record produced by the Gas Agency owner for the purpose of subsidy will be final. The KYC Form can be collected from the Gas Agencies or you can Download the same from the link given below. 


Apply ONLINE for a New Connection of LPG


Friends, 

If you don't have a Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) connection in your name and you want to Book a connection,  then there is no need to go the Gas Agency for applying for the same. The Gas Agencies makes excuses to issue a New LPG connection. Now a very good facility has been started by all the Oil Companies to book for a New  LPG connection in ONLINE mode. Just visit the official website of Gas Distributor of which company you want to take LPG connection, there is a option available to Register for a New Domestic LPG Connection, just click the same, Fill the KYC form and enjoy. You will be allotted a Wait list no. and a Form will be generated by the system. Take the print out of the same, paste a Photo on it and attach an Address Proof and an Identity Proof  and submit the same with the Gas Agency nearby your house from which you want to get connection. The connection will be issued as and when your wait list is over which could be checked ONLINE under the Register  for a New Domestic LPG Connection tab as Check Status to check the status of your request. The connection will not be issued if you have already a LPG Connection in your name. If you have a connection in your name and still you want to issue a New Connection then the same can be issued with the condition that you will not get any subsidy Cylinder on this connection.

Note:
  • Yearly Limit u/s 194C:Also where the aggregate of the amounts paid/credited or likely to be paid/credited to Contractor or Sub-contractor exceeds Rs.75,000 during the financial year, TDS has to be made u/s 194C.
  • TDS at higher rate ie., 20% has to be made if the deductee does not provide PAN to the deductor.(read detail u/s 206AA)
  • No TDS on Goods Transport  :No deduction shall be made from any sum credited or paid or likely to be credited or paid during the previous year to the account of a contractor during the course of business of plying, hiring or leasing goods carriages on furnishing of his Permanent Account Number, to the person paying or crediting such sum.(read details here No TDS on Goods Transport )
  •  Surcharge on Income-tax is not deductible/collectible at source in case of  individual/ HUF /Firm/ AOP / BOI/Domestic Company in respect of payment of income other than salary.
  • In the case of Company other than Domestic Company, the rate of surcharge is @ 2% of Income-tax, where the income or the aggregate of such income paid or likely to be paid exceeds Rs.1,00,00,000. 
  • NoCess on payment made to resident:Education Cess is not deductible/collectible at source in case of resident Individual/HUF/Firm/ AOP/ BOI/ Domestic Company in respect of payment of income other than salary.Education Cess @ 2% plus secondary Higher Education Cess @ 1% is deductible at source in case of non-residents and foreign company.
