On subcontinental pitches, where 350 runs from 50 overs is the norm rather than the exception, this approach may come a cropper, but in a tournament where the bowlers have held their own, England have been impeccable.

Download Admit Card - Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2013

Candidates who have applied for Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) can now Download their Admit Cards which are available on the official website of Board and also from the link provided at the end of this post . Candidates have already been informed that Admit Cards will not be sent by Post. Candidates have to Download it from the official website of Board as mentioned above. The Downloading of Admit Cards will start today .i. 14.06.2013. Only eligible candidates will be able to download their admit cards (Roll Number Slip) and can appear in the examination at the examination center as mentioned on the admit card. No candidate will be allowed to appear in the Examination without Admit Card. In case the candidate could not Download his/her Admit Card from the website, they can personally visit the Board's Headquarter (Bhiwani) with his/her request for issue of Roll No. up to one day before the date of examination. If the candidate is found eligible only then the Admit Card will be issued by the Board and the candidate can appear in the Examination. The schedule of Exam is on the official website.

Banks Directed to Issue Receipt for Form 15-G/15-H

This may be happened with most of us that one has deposited 15-G/15-H Form with the bank in time for not deducting the Income Tax at source out of the savings made in form of Fixed Deposit with the Bank, but when we get our amount on maturity it is noticed that INCOME TAX has been deducted. After inquiring  from the bank officials they usually asks that you have not submitted the required Form 15-G/15-H. This is due to because the Form submitted by the customers are misplaced or no proper action has been taken by the Bank Official. To avoid this type of inconvenience, the Indian Bank Association has issued instructions to all banks to give Acknowledgement to the customers at the time of submission of Form 15-G/15-H. A Circular has also been issued in this regard which could be read as under : 


CIRCULAR DBOD.NO.LEG.BC.100/09.07.005/2012-13, DATED 31-5-2013

As you are aware banks are not required to deduct TDS from depositors who submit declaration in Form 15-G/15-H under Income Tax Rules, 1962. However, it has been brought to our notice that despite submission of Form 15-G/15-H by customers, banks are deducting tax at source, at times, causing inconvenience to customers resulting in a number of complaints. Such instances arise because either the forms are misplaced or a track is not kept of forms received in the branches.

2. The matter has been examined by us in consultation with Indian Banks' Association (IBA). With a view to protect interest of the depositors and for rendering better customer service, banks are advised to give an acknowledgment at the time of receipt of Form 15-G/15-H. This will help in building a system of accountability and customers will not be put to inconvenience due to any omission on part of the banks.

University of Delhi invites applications from eligible candidates for the post of Junior Assistant vide Ref.No. Estab.IV/ JA(Contract)/244/012/2012/05 Dated: 30th May, 2013. The appointment is purely on Contract Basis for a period of six months on consolidated pay of Rs. 13,200/- per month. The candidates fulfilling the required qualifications as mentioned below can submit their application on the prescribed Per-forma which could be downloaded from the official website of University of Delhi along with self attested photocopies of certificates of educational qualifications, date of birth, caste/category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/PWD). The candidates are advised to ensure their eligibility before applying for these posts. The brief details are as under : 
  • Name of  Post : Junior Assistant
  • Number of Posts : 60 Posts
Educational Qualifications : Candidates should have a (i) A Senior Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent qualification from a recognized board / university / institution with at least 50% marks or a Graduate from a recognized university with typing speed of 40 w.p.m in English typewriting through computer.

Desirable Qualifications: Candidates should have Degree / Diploma in Computer Applications / Science and knowledge of operation of latest packages relating to Pay roll, Accounts, MIS etc.. with Diploma in Office Management and Secretarial Practice.

How to Apply: Candidate fulfilling the above qualification may submit their application on the enclosed Per-forma along with self-attested photocopies of certificates of educational qualifications, date of birth, caste / category certificate (SC / ST / OBC / PWD) in the Central Diary Section, New Administrative Block, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007. The time, date, venue, list of eligible candidates and any other information will be displayed on Delhi University website i.e. www.du.ac.in only. The candidates are advised to visit the Delhi University website regularly. No separate communication will be sent to the candidates.
