Junior Engineer (Electrical): Minimum three years Diploma in Electrical or Electrical and Electronic Engineering from a recognized Institute or University or Board with minimum 65% of marks (55% for SC/ST/PWD) or Degree in Electrical or Electrical and Electronic Engineering from a recognized University with 55% marks (45% for SC/ST/PWD).

Experience Required:

Junior Engineer (Civil): At least 2 years experience for Diploma holder or at least 1 year experience for Degree holders in execution and supervision of civil construction work and/ or civil maintenance of office buildings/ commercial buildings/ residential complexes with basic knowledge of RCC design and other civil works, working knowledge of computers, experience in preparation of tenders for civil works, etc.

Junior Engineer (Electrical): At least 2 years experience for Diploma holder or at least 1 year experience for Degree holders in execution and supervision of electrical installations in large buildings/ commercial buildings having HT/ LT substations, central AC plants, lifts, UPS, DG sets, CCTV, Fire alarm system, etc.

Job Description:

Junior Engineer (Civil): Handling and supervision of civil construction/ maintenance/ interior works, etc. of building related infrastructural system and other related jobs in office buildings and residential colonies.

Junior Engineer (Electrical): Handling and supervision of electrical/ electro-mechanical/ electrical and electronics installations/ systems and other related jobs in office building and residential colonies.

Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 20 years and maximum 30 years as on date mentioned in notification. age relaxation will be given as per central govt rules for reserved category candidates only.

  • If the online transaction has not been successfully completed then the following message is displayed ‘Your online transaction was unsuccessful. Please register again’ Candidates may then revisit the ‘Apply Online’ link and fill in their application details again.
  • On successful completion of the transaction, an e-receipt will be generated. Candidates are required to take a printout of the e-receipt.


Payment of Fee through Offline Mode (at counters of PNB branches):
  • Payment of fee/ intimation charges through the offline mode can be made through the CBS branches of Punjab National Bank.
  • After filling in and pressing the “SUBMIT” button in the online application form, a Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidate should note down the Registration Number and Password. An Email & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent.
  • Candidates should take a printout of the system generated fee payment challan immediately.
  • Candidate will receive registration confirmation by SMS/e-mail after two working days from the date of payment of fees/ intimation charges. Please ensure to furnish correct Mobile number / e-mail address to receive the registration confirmation.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply online online on or before 11-02-2014. Caste certificates & other required documents must be submitted at the time of interview. Candidates can apply for only one post. Application for Multiple posts will be rejected.

Link ONLINE Your Unique 12 Digit AADHAAR Number to get Direct Benefit Transfer of LPG subsidy (DBTL)

All the LPG supplier companies has started the Direct Benefit Transfer of LPG subsidy (DBTL) for its consumers w.e.f. January 2014. The consumers who have been issued AADHAAR Numbers have to link this number with the distributor of Company i.e. IOCL, BPCL, HPCL with whom their connection has been registered and also have to link with Bank Account to take the benefit of the subsidy directly into their Bank Account. Three months time has been given to all the those customers who don't have linked both of their accounts with AADHAAR . If the consumer fails to link the AADHHAR Number with the Distributor of Gas Agency and Bank in which his/her account exists, they will be charged Rs. 1244/- per cylinder instead of Rs. 417/- w.e.f. April 2014. The consumers who have linked their AADHAAR Number with both Distributor and Bank will also get an Advance Subsidy of Rs. 435/- from the Gas Company which will be transferred to their Bank Account linked with this service to avail subsidy on booking of First cylinder. They have to pay Rs. 1244/- to the distributor per cylinder. An amount of Rs. 826.75 will be transferred to your Bank account within  48 hours after delivery of cylinder at your home. The consumers who don't link their AADHAR Number with Bank and LPG Distributor will have to pay full amount of Rs. 1244/- to get a cylinder on non-subsidize rates after March 2014. 
How to Link AADHAR to avail LPG Subsidy ? 

Now, you can link your Aadhaar Number with your LPG Consumer ID for getting direct LPG Subsidy Benefit. Find information on Hindustan Petroleum Gas subsidy, Indane Gas subsidy, Bharat Gas subsidy or Gas subsidy linked with Aaadhaar Card.

First of all, note down your 12-Digit AADHAAR Number.

  • Enter Location Details (Location details - State and District Name)

Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit should not exceed 40 years for the post of PGTs  and age limit should not exceed 35 years for the post of TGTs as on 31-01-2014. 

The category wise age relaxation will be as under : 

For SC/ ST Category candidates: 5 years
For OBC Candidates: 3 years
For Women SC/ ST/ OBC candidates:  10 years
For NVS Employee: 5 years


Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess the following qualification.

For Post Graduate Teacher: Two year Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc. Course from Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate or Master Degree from any recognized university in the concerned subjects.

For Trained Graduate Teacher: Four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT with minimum of  50% marks in the concerned subject as well as in the aggregate or Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from a recognized University with 50% marks or above in aggregate as well as in the concerned subjects.

Application Fee: Candidates are required to pay Rs. 560/- (Rs. 500/- as application fee and Rs. 60/- as Bank Service charges) in the form of bank challan at the nearest Branch of Union Bank of India.  No application fee is to paid by SC/ ST/ PH categories and women candidates.  

Pay Scale: 

For PGT Post: Rs. 9300-34800 (Grade Pay Rs.4800)
For TGT Post: Rs. 9300-34800 (Grade Pay Rs.4600)

How to Apply: The interested and eligible candidates who wish to apply for Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) and Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs) posts in Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, they are required to apply through online mode by filling online application on NVS’s official website at www.navodaya.nic.in from 1st February to 28th February 2014. Before filling online application, candidates must have email ID, scanned copies of photo and signature. After filling online application candidates are required to take print out of the same and affix a recent passport size photograph on it and keep it for record purpose.

Important Instructions : 
  • Log on to NVS’s official website at www.navodaya.nic.in.
  • Navigate to ‘Recruitment of Teachers in NVS – 2014′ section.
  • Now click on ‘Recruitment of PGTs & TGTs in JNVs – 2014′.
  • Click on ‘Online Application form for Recruitment of PGTs & TGTs – 2014’.
  • Fill application form with all mandatory details and upload the scanned copy of photograph and signature and submit.
  • Now submit your application and note down the login ID and password.
  • Take print out Fee payment challan and pay the fee as mentioned above.
  • Visit the same website once again.
  • Take print out of application for further use.

  • Starting Date for Online Registration form: 01-02-2014
  • Last Date for Online Registration form: 28-02-2014
  • Last Date for Depositing Application fee in Bank: 01-03-2014
  • Last Date for Submission of Online Application: 03-03-2014
  • Download Admit Card: 31-03-2014
  • Date of Written Examination: 27-04-2014
