Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) CWE for recruitment of Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Office Assistants (Multipurpose) in RRBs 2014-15

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has issued notification of  Common Written Examination for recruitment of Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Office Assistants (Multipurpose) in RRBs 2014-15 which will be conducted online by IBPS tentatively in September 2014. As per the procedure for recruitment, individuals who aspire to join any of the above Regional Rural Banks either as an Officer (Scale-I, II & III) or as an Office Assistant (Multipurpose) will necessarily be required to qualify through the CWE. Prospective candidates who wish to appear for the CWE will have to apply to IBPS after carefully reading the advertisement as regards eligibility criteria, online registration process, payment of prescribed application fee/ intimation charges, pattern of examination, issuance of call letters and CWE scores. Candidates who appear for the CWE will be able to check their status on IBPS website www.ibps.in after the examination. Scores of candidates, who secure minimum qualifying marks and above in each test and also on total weighted scores, if any, will be displayed on IBPS website. Successful candidates in the CWE who meet with the stipulated eligibility criteria will then be required to apply to any of the participating RRB as and when that individual RRB issues advertisement for interviews.

How to Apply : A candidate can apply for the Post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and can also apply for the Post of Officer. However a candidate can apply for only one post in officer’s cadre i.e. for Officer Scale-I or Scale-II or Scale-III. Candidates have to apply separately and pay fees separately for each post. Candidates can apply online only from 18.06.2014 to 09.07.2014 and no other mode of application will be accepted.

Out of 98 vacancies mentioned above, 3 vacancies are reserved for candidates belonging to Persons with Disability (PWD) category - one vacancy each for Orthopedically Handicapped (OH), Hearing Impaired (HI) and Visually Handicapped (VH).   • OR  A Chartered/Cost Accountant/Company Secretary (ACS) with a Bachelor's Degree; 
  • OR A Post Graduate Diploma in Management / MBA qualification from institutions recognized by Government of India / University Grants Commission, with Graduation / Bachelor's Degree.

Application Fees : Rs. 400/- (Rupees four hundred only).

No fee is payable by SC/ST/PWD candidates. Fees are required to be paid only in the manner prescribed in this advertisement (item 8 below). Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Pay Scale:  Selected Candidates will draw a starting basic pay of Rs.21,000/- p.m. in the scale of Rs.21000-1000-30000-EB-1000-32000-1100-36400 applicable to Officers in Grade B and they will also be eligible for Dearness Allowance, Local Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Family Allowance, and Grade Allowance as per rules in force from time to time. At present, initial monthly Gross emoluments are approximately Rs.47,855/-.

How to Apply : 
Pre-requisite for Applying Online : Candidates should download the respective Bank Challan as per their category (Gen/OBC/PWD/SC/ST/Ex-serviceman). Fill up the forms and deposit the respective registration fees to the bank and get the Journal number which will be required for filling up the online application.
Candidates should scan their photograph and signature as detailed under guidelines for scanning the photograph and signature. Candidates should have valid email ID which should be kept active till the declaration of results. It will help him/her in getting call letter/interview advices etc. by e-mail.

Applying Online
Open the Online Application Form available on this site and Fill the application carefully. Once the application is filled in completely, candidate should submit the data. Filled application form will reflect on the screen. Click ‘Print’ to take a print out of the filled application form and keep it for future reference. On successful submission a Registration Number will be generated. Save the same for future references.

Municipal Corporation of Delhi Recruitment 2014-15

Terms and Conditions:-

As per RRs the age limit for General, OBC and SC/ST is 27 years, 30 years and 32 years respectively as on last date of application. The age relaxation for PH/Ortho will be given as per rules.

Educational and Other Qualifications as per RRs.

(a) Degree in Civil/Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent.

Or

(b) Diploma in Civil/Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution or equivalent; and 2 years professional experience as Civil/Electrical Engineer, counted from the date of completion of the qualifying Diploma Examination.

REMUNERATION: The selected candidates will be paid a fixed remuneration @ Rs 9300+Rs. 4200(GP)+Variable DA in accordance with the circular of HC(M)/CED/North/2013/1211 dated 25.04.2013.

Instruction To candidates
  1. The vacancies advertised are provisional and liable to vary and may be reduced or increased to any number by the department.
  2. The Commissioner, North Delhi Municipal Corporation has reserves the right to cancel or modify the advertisement or part of it at any stage.

Have you not got full benefit to TDS Credit as shown in Form 16/ Form 16-A issued by the Employer etc. and not shown in the Form 26 AS?

Assessee cannot be denied credit for TDS on the ground of Form 26AS mismatch because he is not at fault. Non-grant of TDS credit causes harassment, inconvenience & makes the assessee feel cheated. Dept to pay interest + costs of Rs. 25,000

The assessee filed a return in which he claimed a refund of Rs. 2.32 lakhs on account of excess TDS by the Government department. The return was processed by the Central Processing Centre (CPC) of the Income-tax Department at Bangalore and a refund of only Rs.43,740 was issued. No intimation was given to the assessee as to why the balance amount of Rs.1.88,630 was not refundable. The assessee filed an application u/s 154 for rectification of the mistake and asked for refund of the balance amount. As there was no response from the department despite several reminders, the assessee filed a writ petition in the High Court. HELD by the High Court allowing the Petition:

(i) The difficulty faced by the tax payers relating to credit of TDS was considered by the Delhi High Court in Court On its Own Motion vs. CIT 352 ITR 273 and the CBDT was directed to issue directions with regard to giving credit of unmatched and mismatched TDS certificates. Pursuant thereto, the CBDT issued*Instruction No.5 of 2013 dated 8.7.2013* directing that where the assessee approaches the AO with requisite details and particulars in the form of TDS certificate as evidence against any mismatch amount the AO would verify whether or not the deductor had made payment of the TDS in the government account and, in the event, the payment had been made, credit of the same would be given to the assessee.

(ii) On facts, no effort has been made by the AO to verify whether the deductor had made the payment of the TDS in the government account. On the other hand, the Income-tax department has shown helplessness in not refunding the amount on the sole ground that the details of the TDS did not match with the details shown in Form 26AS. There is a presumption that the deductor has deposited TDS amount in the government account especially when the deductor is a government department. By denying the benefit of TDS to the Petitioner because of the fault of the deductor causes not only harassment and inconvenience, but also makes the assessee feel cheated. There is no fault on the part of the Petitioner. The fault, if any, lay  with the deductor. The mismatching is not attributable to the assessee. The department must refund the amount within 3 weeks with interest. The department must also pay costs of Rs. 25,000 to the Petitioner.
