Match No. 13
Today April 12, 2012, there will be played two matches. The Match No. 13 will be played between Chennai Super Kings, Chennai v/s Royal Challengers, Banglore. The match is scheduled to be played at M.A.Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. The match will start at 4:00 p.m. IST. The Chennai Super Kings have looked out of sorts in the three matches they've played this season and their problem starts right at the top of the innings. Their opening partnerships have been 4, 2 and 0, and opener Murali Vijay has only managed scores of 10, 2 and 0. He will be aware of the pressure on him to deliver the goods. Keep an eye on the 28-year-old to come out firing.
There will be pressure on Suresh Raina and Ravichandran Ashwin too. They were key contributors to CSK’s title run in IPL 2011, but this year, they haven’t set the stage on fire yet. Expect them to turn on the heat – especially while playing at home, where they've got fabulous records.

It is not often that Chris Gayle, Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers fail in the same match. That happened in RCB’s match against KKR. The team from Bangalore will want to flush that memory away quickly. Look out for fireworks from Gayle, who looked out of sorts in his first outing this season. The Jamaican opener batted for eight balls to score 2 runs against KKR, and he will want to start delivering those big blows that made him a heartthrob with RCB fans last season.
Match No. 14
The Match No. 14 will be played between Kings XI Punjab v/s Pune Warriors India, Pune and will be played at Punjab Cricket Association Stadium, Mohali. The match will start at 8.00 p.m. IST.For Kings XI Punjab to start competing, their captain Adam Gilchrist needs to start scoring big runs at the top of the order. For a team that doesn’t have many other match-winners, Gilchrist and his fellow Australian David Hussey – who is among the most-experienced cricketers in Twenty20 cricket – need to score the bulk of the runs. They will also need batsmen like Paul Valthaty to play the supporting role.

KXIP will also look to give Azhar Mahmood his first IPL cap; the 37-year old has been in good form with the bat in Twenty20 cricket recently. His 117 Twenty20 appearances coupled with his all-round contribution could just be the boost his side needs.
Pune Warriors India will be glad that their all-rounders are contributing; Marlon Samuels, Robin Uthappa and Steven Smith have been impressive in both the matches so far. Samuels has contributed with both bat and ball in both games, and Uthappa has scored valuable runs and has been very sharp behind the stumps.
