To get rid of these unwanted commercial calls and SMS, TRAI has started a system by registering your mobile no. under Do NOT DISTURB (DND) scheme. Stop All Calls (Fully Blocked Category- stoppage of all commercial Calls/SMS )
To enroll in the National Do Not Call registry in India, do one of the following.
Send an SMS with the message START 0 to 1909 OR Call 1909 and follow instructions
Note: If the above SMS is not recognized, try sending the old format message START DND to 1909
You may call 1909 or may check DND current status and know your NDNC registration date by giving your mobile number in field given below.

Send an SMS with the message START n to 1909 OR Call 1909 and follow instructions
In the above message, n is a single digit from 1 to 7, as below

- Health
- Consumer goods and automobiles
- Communication/Broadcasting/Entertainment/IT
- Tourism and Leisure
Allow All Calls
- Send an SMS with the message STOP 0 to 1909 OR Call 1909 and follow instructions
- You will get a SMS informing you of your de-registration request and seeking your confirmation through SMS.
- Send SMS confirming your request.
- On receipt of confirmation, the Access Provider will again send a SMS confirming your de-registration.
