Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HP PSC) invites applications from eligible candidates for the Post(s) of Naib Tehsildar, Class-II (Gazetted) in the Department of Revenue, Himachal Praedesh. The interested candidates can apply through Online Recruitment Applications (ORA) link provide on the official website of Himachal Pradesh Government at http://www.hp.gov.in.in/hppsc upto 17th of November 2012 till 11.59 p.m. (IST) after which the link will be disabled. The candidates must ensure their eligibility in respect of Category, Experience, age and Essential Qualification(s) etc. as mentioned in the advertisement to avoid rejection at later stage. - Name of Post : Naib Tehsildar
- No. of Posts : 09 Posts (General = 08 Posts and SC of H.P.= 01 Post)
- Essential Qualifications : Candidate should be a Graduate or its equivalent from any recognized University/ Institution. Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh is desirable.
- Age Limit : Minimum 21 years Maximum 45 year as on 1st Jan. 2012. Relax-able as per Rules.
Application Fee :
- General Category (including General Physically Disabled, i.e. orthographically disabled, Deaf and Dumb, Hearing impaired/ W.F.F. of HP/ Ex-Servicemen relieved from Defense Services on their own request before completion of normal tenure): Rs. 250/-
- Candidates of other States (including reserved category candidates of other states) : Rs. 250/-
- S.C. of H.P. /S.T. of H.P. /O.B.C. of H.P.(including S.C. /S.T. /O.B.C. Ex-Servicemen of H.P. relieved from Defence Services on their own requests before completion of normal tenure) :Rs. 63/-
- Ex-Servicemen of H.P. (Ex-Servicemen, who are relieved from Defense Services after completion of normal tenure) / Blind of H.P./ Visually Impaired of H.P. : No Fee
For the purpose of making the final selection decision, the eligible candidates are required to go through the following steps of the recruitment process:
- Screening Test
- Written Test
- Interview Round

After completing online registration candidates need to download and take print of online recruitment application form (system generated) it will be required on the day of screening test.
