Water Resources Division of APSRAC maps and studies surface water resources using remote sensing and GIS techniques. The mandate of the Division includes the performance evaluation of the existing Major and Medium Irrigation projects, infrastructure mapping of selected irrigation commands, and hydro logical analysis of MI tanks.  The division is presently carrying out two projects namely – Tank Reliant Irrigation Development project for Chittoor district and Development of Tank Information System sponsored by I/CAD Department, Govt. of A.P.
