Central Board of Secondary Education (An Autonomous Orgnization under the Union Ministry of Human Resource Development), Government of India has scheduled a Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on 28.07.2013. The duration to complete the CTET Examination has been increased. The time duration of Paper-I and Paper-II was 1.30 hours which has been now revised to 2.30 hours for CTET-JULY 2013 Examination. The Board has issued a Press Notice in this regard which could be read as under :
PRESS NOTICE
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), has issued Press Notice for seeking On-line submission of application by the candidates for CTET-JULY 2013 Examination. In accordance with NCTE Circular No.76-4/2010/NCTE/Acad dated 11.02.2011 regarding Guidelines for conduct of Teacher Eligibility Test, the time duration for Paper-I & Paper-II, has been mentioned as 1.30 hours in CTET-JULY 2013 Information Bulletin and Press Notice available on CTET website.
The NCTE vide letter No.F.76-1/2011/NCTE/Acad, dated 9th April, 2013, has increased the time duration for TET Examination from 1.30 hours to 2.30 hours for a period of six months or till the report of the committee for this purpose, is submitted and a decision is taken thereon, whichever is earlier. Accordingly, as per the aforesaid NCTE Notification regarding extension of time duration to complete TET, the schedule for CTET-JULY 2013 Examination stands revised as on the official website.
