The Financial Year 2012-13 (Assessment Year 2013-14) has been over. After completion of the Financial Year, the person liable to deduct to tax at source out the payments made by him to its Employees or out sourcing persons etc i.e. DDO have to file the information in the electronic mode to the Income Tax Department on quarterly basis. Till now the returns upto 3rd quarter have been filed by all of you. The 4th quarter return is to be filed. The TDS returns for fourth quarter of financial year 2012-13 is due on 15th May 2013 and many deductors would need a software to prepare and file their TDS Returns. The Income Tax Department provides a very good utility free of cost to file your e-Return. You can download the latest version of RPU from the official website of Income Tax Department and can file your return very easily. The due dates are as under :
