Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) (A Government of India Enterprise), invites applications from eligible candidates for 232 posts of Operator-cum-Technical (Trainee) and Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee) for its Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) vide Advertisement No. 01/2013 dated 03/05/2013. Candidates selected for the above posts will be required to undergo, on the job training, for a period of 2 (two) years, which can be extended for a further period of 2 (two) years, as per requirement.The selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of performance in the Written Test will be followed by an Interview. Date, Time & Place of the Written Test and Interview will be intimated to eligible / shortlisted candidates through e-mail and SAIL website www.sail.co.in. The brief details are as under :
Total Number of posts : 232 posts
- Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee) : 126 posts
- Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee): 106 posts
Educational Qualifications:
1. For OCTT posts: Candidates must possess Matriculation with 3 years full time Diploma in Engineering in the relevant discipline.
2. For ACTT posts: Candidates must possess Matriculation with ITI (full time) in Fitter / Electrician / Welder / Electronics from a recognized institute.
Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 18 years to 28 years as on 01 March 2013.
(Relaxation in Age will be as per Government Rules)
Application Fee : Candidates are required to pay Rs. 250/- for OCTT posts and Rs. 150/- for ACTT posts.
