Income Tax Department, Government of India, invites applications from eligible candidates for the various posts as mentioned below vide notification no. F.No.1E/11/2912-13/Sports Rec./RW/3963 dated 13.06.2013 for sports persons. Only the candidates willing to work in Kolkatta can apply for these posts. The interested candidates can apply on the prescribed application form which could be downloaded from the official website of Income Tax Department and also from the link given at the end of this post. The applications received so will be scrutinized and eligible candidates with reference to the requirements mentioned in the advertisement will be called for Interview-cum-Personality Test. On the basis of this test the candidates will be shortlisted and such candidates will be required to appear in the Ground/Proficiency Test for final selection. The brief details are as under :
- Inspector – 01 job
- Tax Assistant – 05 jobs
- Notice Server: 07 jobs
- Multi Tasking Staff: 07 jobs
Educational Qualification: Minimum degree required for Inspector, & Tax Assistant, 10th or equivalent for Notice Server & Multi Tasking Staff. Applications from Meritorious Sports Person are accepted in the games like Athletics (Men & Women), Basket Ball, Cricket, Foot Ball, Kabaddi, Volley Ball.
