Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, Lucknow invites applications from eligible candidates for the posts as mentioned below. The interested candidates can apply in OFFLINE and ONLINE mode. If the candidates wansts apply in offline mode, then he/she have to fill the OMR sheet and submit the same with the department. The candidates who want to apply in online mode, they can visit the official website of Board at http://prpb.up.nic.in. The ONLINE Registration process is of Three Steps. In the first phase, the candidates have to make their Registration. After successful Registration take a Print Out of the Registration Slip generated by the system. In the second phase candidates have to deposit the required Fee and submit the details in Online mode. And the last phase is 'Submit the Application Form. The selection of the candidates will be made on the merit of common written examination. The brief details are as under :

1. Reserved Police : 35,500 posts
2. Reserved PAC : 4,033 posts
3. Fireman : 2,077 posts
Educational Qualifications : Candidates should have 12th passed or its equivalent from any recognized board.
Age Limit : Candidates age limit is 18 Years to 22 Years for Male candidates and 18 Years to 25 Years for female candidates.
Selection Method : Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis performance of Physical Efficiency Test, Health Care Exam and Written test.
Application Fee : Candidates have to pay Rs.200/- as application fee in the form of System generated challan in SBI / Punjab National Bank.
