NTPC Limited (A Government of India Enterprise) invites applications from eligible candidates for Diploma Engineer Trainees posts. The interested candidates can apply in ONLINE mode only through the link provided on the official website of NTPC at www.ntpccareers.net. The site is functional from 10.00 hours of 19.08.2013 to midnight of 10.09.2013. No other means/mode of application will be accepted. The selection of the candidates will be made on written test. Eligible candidates will have to undergo two hours objective type written examination /test. Based on the merit and requirement, the list of successful candidates for appearing in interview will be made available at www.ntpccareers.net and communication will be sent to such candidates. All such short listed candidates will have to appear for Personal Interview. • Name of Post : Diploma Engineer Trainee 
• Educational Qualification : Diploma in Engineering with 70% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PWD) in respective branch. 
• Stipend : Rs.15500/- per month as stipend for one year and after successful completion will be absorbed in the pay scale of Rs. 15500 - 3% - 34500
• Age Limit : 27 years as on 10/09/2013.
