Government of India, Income Tax Department, Office of the Chief Commissioner of Income Tax-I , invites applications from eligible candidates for the posts of Inspector/ Tax Assistant and Multi Tasking Staff vide Notification No. C.NO.26(5)/ESTT/SPORTS/2013-14 Dated 21.01.2014. The interested candidates can apply on prescribed application form which could be downloaded from the official website of Income Tax Department and also from the link provided at the end of this post. The candidates from outstanding Sports Persons are eligible for these posts against Sports Quota for the year 2013-14. No other means/mode of application will be accepted. The candidates are advised to ensure their eligibility before applying for these posts. The selection of the candidates will be done through trial and followed by Interview. The brief details are as under :
Name of the posts:
- Inspector of Income Tax: 02 posts
- Tax Assistant: 20 posts
- Multi Tasking Staff Position: 03 posts
Total Number of vacancies: 25
Educational Qualifications: The candidates must have done a Bachelor Degree in any discipline from any recognized University/ Board or its equivalent for Inspector and Tax Assistant post. For the posts of Multi Tasking Staff the candidates should be pass Matriculation or its equivalent.
Desirable Qualifications: The Income Tax Department has mentioned some extra qualifications for sports quota posts in addition to mentioned as above and for that the candidates should refer to official advertisement .
Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 18 years to 25 years as on 01st January 2014. Age relaxation will be given as per central govt rules. 3 years relaxation for OBC and 5 years for remaining reserved applicants.
How to Apply: All Eligible and Interested must fill application in the prescribed application format and must be superscribed "APPLICATION APPOINTMENT OF PERSONNEL UNDER SPORTS QUOTA-2013-14" along with all relevant document should be reach by Registered Post or Speed Post or by Ordinary post or directly in person. Applications send through Courier will not be accepted.
