Intelligence Bureau (IB), Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, invites applications from eligible candidates for the posts of Security Assistant (Executive) General Central Service, Group-C (Non-Gazetted/Non-Ministerial) in the following Subsidiary Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. The interested candidates can apply in ONLINE mode only through the link provided on the official website of Intelligence Bureau (IB) at www.mha.nic.in . No other means/mode of application will be accepted. The candidates are advised to ensure their eligibility before applying for these posts. The candidates are also advised to fill their SIB/Center of Examination carefully as they will be considered for the vacancies for the said SIB/Center of Examination only. Educational Qualifications: Candidates must have passed Matriculation/ Class 10th or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board of Education and must have Knowledge of local language/dialect.
Age Limit : Not exceeding 27 years of age as on the closing date i.e. February 17, 2014 for registration of applications.
(Relaxation in Age will be given as per Government Rules.)
Pay Scale: Pay Band-1, Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade Pay of Rs.2000/-
Selection Process : The selection of the candidates will be Based on the performance in written test, local language test and personality test.
Application Fee: Rs.50/- (RUPEES FIFTY ONLY) for General & OBC candidates (male). However, Woman candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe are exempted from payment of fee.
How to Apply: The eligible and interested candidates who wish to apply for IB Security Assistant Posts in Intelligence Bureau, are required to apply through Online mode only through the link provided on the official website of I.B. at www.mha.nic.in before 17th February 2014. After filling online application candidates are required to take print out of the system generated online application form for further use.
Before start applying online, candidates must have valid Email ID and scanned copy of Photograph & Signature.
- Log on to IB’s official website at www.mha.nic.in.
- Find the link of “Security Assistant” and click on Apply Online.
- Now Read instructions and click on Part I of Application Form.
- Now fill all marked details and click on submit button.
- Once done with first part, now proceed to Part II of online application.
- Now make payment, Upload your Photograph & signature in the prescribed format & submit the error free application.
- At last, take print out of system generated application form for further use.
