Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) invites applications from eligible candidates for the posts of Assistant Engineers/ Junior Engineers. The interested candidates can apply in ONLINE mode only through the link provided on the official website of KPSC up-to 02/04/2014. . No other means/mode of application will be accepted. The candidates are advised in their own interest to ensure eligibility before applying for these posts. The brief details are as under :
Name and Number of the Posts:
- Assistant Engineer (Civil): 365 Posts
- Assistant Engineer (Mechanical): 40 Posts
- Junior Engineer (Civil): 131 Posts
- Junior Engineer (Mechanical): 14 Posts
Number of Vacancies: 550
Age Limit: Candidate should have 18-33 years. Age Relaxation is applicable as per rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidate must possess Degree in Civil/ Mechanical Engineering for S.No.1 & 2 posts, Diploma in Civil/ Mechanical Engineering for S.No.3 & 4 posts.
Application Fee: Unreserved candidates need to pay application fee of Rs. 300/- and Rs. 25/- for SC/ ST/ PWD/EXSM/CAT-I candidates in form of Challan which must be downloaded from website after submission of online application within two days from date of application or through NET Banking, Credit/ Debit Card payment/ NEFT.
How to Apply: Candidates need to apply online through the website www.kpsc.kar.nic.in on or before 04-03-2014 to 02-04-2014.
Instructions for Online Application:
- Log on to www.kpsc.kar.nic.in and select the ‘Notification’ link to start the Online Application process.
- Select the Online Application link besides the notification link.
- Click on “I accept that I have gone through the above instructions” box and click on “Open Application form”.
- Upload previously scanned Photograph and Signature at the places provided
- Fill all marked details carefully, check once before submission and click on ‘Submit’ button.
- Take print out of system generated Challan and make payment according within two days.
Important Dates:
- Starting Date for Online Application: 04-03-2014.
- Last Date for filling of Online Application (before 01:00 PM) & payment of fee 9before 03:00 PM): 02-04-2014.
