Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has published a notice F.NO.3/1/2014-P and P-II for recruitment of Junior Engineers in the Employment News/ Rozgr Samachar dated 01.03.2014. A Combined All India Open Examination on 25.05.2014 for recruitment to these posts. The interested candidates can apply in ONLINE and OFFLINE mode through the links provided on the official website of SSC at www.ssconline.nic.in up to 28.03.2014. The Commission will not undertake detailed scrutiny of applications for the eligibility and other aspects at the time of written examination and, therefore, the application is accepted only provisionally. The candidates are advised to go through the requirements of educational qualification, age etc. and satisfy themselves that they are eligible before applying. The selection of candidates will be made on the basis of written test and interview. The brief details are as under :

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have Diploma in Civil , Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an institution recognized by the Central Government for Sl No 1 and 3 years Diploma or equivalent in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering from an institution recognized by the Central Government for Sl No 2 and Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognized University for Sl No 3 and refer notification for post wise qualification details.
Application Fee: Candidates have to Rs.100/- through State Bank of India either in the form of Challan or through SBI net banking and no fee for women/ SC/ ST/ PH/ EXS candidates.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates can apply online from the website http://ssconline.nic.in and http://ssconline2.gov.in from 01-03-2014 to 26-03-2014 by 5:00 PM for Part-I and up to 28-03-2014 by 5:00 PM for Part-II and Copies of supporting documents are kept ready if shortlisted for interview.
Online Instructions:
- Log on to the website www.ssconline.nic.in.
- Online Application form contains two parts. Part I & Part II
- Click on Apply Online.
- After filling all the details click on Submit button.
- After submission a registration no will be generated.
- Take the print of the system generated form or note down the registration no.
- Candidates who have to pay application fee can pay fee online through SBI net banking or cash through SBI bank Challan.
- To pay fee in cash, candidate should take print-out of Challan generated online after completion of part I registration.
- After depositing the Fee, candidate have to again login to the website and fill the Part -II Registration.
- Then upload photo & signature as mentioned in the form and enter the payment details.
- After filling all the details click on submit button.
- Candidates will receive emails after completion of Part II Registration.
- Copy of email & Challan must be retained for any further reference.
