Export Inspection Council of India (Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India) invites applications from eligible candidates for various posts as mentioned below vide Advertisement No.2014/01. The interested candidates can apply in ONLINE mode only through the link provided on the official website of EIC. No other means/mode of application will be accepted. Candidate should ensure that he/she possesses educational qualification/experience in the relevant area as required in the category/post, for which he/she is applying, on the last date of receipt of application. A limited number of candidates on the basis of merit & experience will be called for interview. It will not be obligatory on the part of EIC to call all eligible candidates for interview. Applications which are not in the prescribed format (ONLINE) and without photo (attested), signature and proof of educational qualification, experience, etc., shall be rejected without any further correspondence in this regard. Candidates applying for more than one Post should apply separately quoting the post applied for along with an application fee of Rs.500/- (wherever applicable). The brief details are as under :

How to Apply : The Candidates fulfilling the above eligibility criteria should apply ONLINE and take a printout of the system generated application form and send it after affixing their signature along with a Demand Draft / Pay Order for Rs.500/- towards application fee (for each post separately) drawn in favour of ‘Export Inspection Council of India’ payable at Delhi and self-attested copy of educational qualification, experience, Caste certificate, PWD certificate, etc., on or before 29th April, 2014 to the following address :

Important Instructions :
- Online Recruitment Application would capture information related to Personal Profile, Contact detail, Age, Fee Exemption, Educational Qualification, Registration, Experience etc. of candidates. Details has to be filled in one session. Before filling up the Online Recruitment Application, candidates are advised to carefully go through the relevant Advertisement.

- Click the hyperlink "view details". The link would display the details of the vacancies like eligibility conditions for a particular post.
- Select "apply" against the post for which you wish to apply only if you fulfill the requisite eligiblity coinditions.
- This application is most compatible with IE7 onwards.
- You will be given 25 minutes to fill the complete application form.
- User can export the application form in PDF format by using the option provided in the top right corner of filled form.
- After filling the form, user can take the printout or save it as PDF for later use by clicking on view/print/save button.
- User can also check the status and take print of application form, using "search your application" link on top right corner.
- Candidates are advised to see his /her uploaded photograph for clear visibility.
