Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), (NAAC Accrediated A Grade University) invites applications from eligible candidates for the posts of Section Officers and Personal Assistants. The interested candidates can apply in ONLINE mode only through the link provided on the official website of University. No other means/mode of application will be accepted. The candidates are advised to ensure thier eligibility before applying for these posts. The selection of candidates will be made on the basis of their performance in written test, stenography and interview. The brief details are as under :

Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be 40 years for Section officer posts and 35 years for Personal Assistant Posts. Age relaxation is applicable as per the rules.
Educational Qualifications: Candidates must have passed University Degree for Section Officer posts while must have passed Sr. Sec. School Certificate (10+2) with proficiency in shorthand with a speed of 120 w.p.m. and two years experience as Stenographer for Personal Assistant posts.
Application Fee: General and other unreserved category candidates are required to pay Rs. 300/- while SC/ ST and other reserved category candidates are exempted from paying application fee.
How to Apply: All those candidates who wish to apply for Section Officer and Personal Assistant posts in Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) they are required to apply through online mode on its official website at www.jnu.ac.in on or before 7th April 2014. After submission of application, take print out of system generated application and send it along with the prescribed application fee, one passport size photograph (pasted on the hard copy of application duly signed across) and self-attested copies of the certificates of educational qualifications, date of birth, experience, caste, PWD certificate, ID proof of residence etc. to following address on or before 7th April 2014.
