Candidates who want to serve the Nation as Territorial Army Officers in Indian Army, based on the concept of enabling motivated young men to serve in a military environment without having to sacrifice their primary professions has the best opportunity to do the so. You can serve the nation in two capacities – as a civilian and as a soldier. The interested candidates can obtain the Application Form from the Employment Newspaper or can download the same from the official website of India Army at www.indianarmy.gov.in. No other means/mode of application will be accepted. Incomplete/Ineligible Application Forms will be rejected without intimation. Candidates whose applications forms are found correct will be called for screening (written exam and interview), by a Preliminary Interview Board (PIB), at the respective TA Group Headquarters. The selection of candidates will be on the basis of their performance in screening test, written test and interview. The brief details are as under :
Name of the Posts: Territorial Army (TA) Officer
Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 18 years to 42 years as on 30-06-2014. Age relaxation is applicable as per the Govt. rules.
Educational Qualifications: Candidates should posses the qualification of Graduation from any recognized University.
Application Fee: Application fees are not required for above posts. Refer to official notification for more detail.
How to Apply: All those candidates who wish to apply for Territorial Army (TA) Officer Posts in Indian Army are required to download the application format from official website at www.indianarmy.gov.in. Fill the application form with all mandatory details and send their application in prescribed format along with all required documents/certificates in support of age, caste, qualification before 30th June 2014. Application should be submitted to their respective TA Group Headquarters as per the areas given in the notification.
