Central Recruitment & Promotion Department, State Bank of India (SBI) invites applications from eligible candidates for the posts of Assistants in Clerical Cadre vide Advertisement No. CRPD/CR/2014-15/02. The interested candidates can apply in ONLINE mode only through the link provided on the official website of SBI. No other means/mode of application will be accepted. The Recruitment Examination will also be conducted in ONLINE mode tentatively in July/August 2014 on various dates. Candidates are advised to regularly check Bank's website www.sbi.co.in or www.statebankofindia.com for details and updates. Candidates should satisfy themselves about their eligibility for the post applied for. Candidate’s admission to the test / interview will be strictly provisional. Candidates are advised in their own interest to apply online much before the closing date and not to wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection / inability / failure to log on to the website on account of heavy load on Internet or website jam. The selection of candidates will be made on the basis of their performance in written examination, Descriptive Test, Group Discussion and Interview. The brief details are as under :

Number of Posts : 5092 Posts (SC: 760 Posts , ST: 463 Posts, OBC: 1179 Posts, General: 2690 Posts)
Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 20 years for 28 years as on 01-05-2014. In other words candidates must have been born not earlier than 02-05-1986 to 01-05-1994 (Both days inclusive). Age relaxation is applicable as per the rules and it will be considered as on 01-05-2014.
Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess the following qualification of Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent examination from any recognized University.
Those who are in the Final year of Graduation/ Semester may also apply provisionally subjects to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 31-08-2014.
Application Fee: General and other unreserved candidates are required to pay Rs. 450/- while SC/ ST/ Physically Handicapped/ PWD category candidates will have to pay Rs. 100/- as application fee. Application fee should be paid either through Online of Offline mode.
Online Payment Mode: The system will generate a cash voucher/ challan form pre-printed with the candidate's details which will be required to be presented at any State Bank of India branch counter with the requisite fee. On payment of the requisite fee through computer generated challan form, registration of the online application will be complete.
Offline Payment Mode: The payment can be made by using debit card/ credit card/Internet Banking.
Pay Scale: Monthly Salary will be issued through the Pay scale of Rs. 7200-400/3-8400-500/3-9900-600/4-12300-700/7-17200-1300/1-18500-800/1-19300 applicable to Assistants in Clerical Cadre.
Emoluments: The total starting emoluments of a Clerical Cadre employee payable at Metro like Mumbai will be around Rs.17500.00 per month inclusive of D.A. and other allowances at the current rate. Allowances may vary depending upon the place of posting.
How to Apply : The interested and eligible candidates who wish to apply for SBI Clerk 2014 for Assistants in Clerical Cadre posts in State Bank of India, are required to apply through online mode on SBI’s official website at www.statebankofindia.com or www.sbi.co.in. After submission of online application candidates are required to take print out of the system generated online application form for further use. - Once you are done with everything in the application form, click on submit button.
- At last, Take print out of application form for future references.
