North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC) invites applications from eligible candidates for the posts of Junior Engineer (Civil) and Junior Engineer (Electrical). The recruitment is purely on contract basis. The interested candidates can apply in ONLINE mode only through the link provided on the official website of MCD. No other means/mode of application will be accepted. The candidates are advised to ensure their eligibility before applying for these posts. The brief details are as under : 

• Name of Post : Junior Engineer (Civil) 
• No. of Posts : 35 Posts (UR-18, OBC-8, SC-5, ST-3, PWD-1)

• Name of Post : Junior Engineer (Electrical) 
• No. of Posts : 08 Posts (UR-5, OBC-1, SC-1, ST-1)

Pay Scale : Rs.9300-34800 grade pay Rs.4200/-

Application Fees : No Application Fee is required.

Educational Qualification : Diploma in Engineering in relevant engineering disciplines.

Age Limit:-

• General : 18 - 27 years
• SC        : 18 - 32 years
• ST        : 18 - 32 years
• OBC    : 18 - 30 years
• Others   : 18 - 37 years

Terms and Conditions:-

As per RRs the age limit for General, OBC and SC/ST is 27 years, 30 years and 32 years respectively as on last date of application. The age relaxation for PH/Ortho will be given as per rules.

Educational and Other Qualifications as per RRs.

(a) Degree in Civil/Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent.

Or

(b) Diploma in Civil/Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution or equivalent; and 2 years professional experience as Civil/Electrical Engineer, counted from the date of completion of the qualifying Diploma Examination.

REMUNERATION: The selected candidates will be paid a fixed remuneration @ Rs 9300+Rs. 4200(GP)+Variable DA in accordance with the circular of HC(M)/CED/North/2013/1211 dated 25.04.2013.

Instruction To candidates

1. The vacancies advertised are provisional and liable to vary and may be reduced or increased to any number by the department.
2. The Commissioner, North Delhi Municipal Corporation has reserves the right to cancel or modify the advertisement or part of it at any stage.
3. The Commissioner, North Delhi Municipal Corporation shall have the right to reject all or any of the applications without assigning any reason.
4. The contract appointment will be purely on temporary basis and will create no right or claim for regular appointment.
5. Candidates must apply online through the website www.mcdonline.gov.in. The closing date for submission of online application is upto the date 23.06.2014 after which the link will be disabled.
6. Applications received through any other mode would not be accepted and summarily rejected. 
7. The candidate must be a citizen of India. 
8. The educational qualification, age, experience etc. as stipulated in advertisement shall be determined as on the closing date of submission of application.
