National Institute of Technology invites applications from eligible candidates for the posts as mentioned below vide Open Advt. No. Admn.04/2014 Dated 13/06/2014. The interested candidates can apply on the prescribed application form which could be downloaded from the official website of National Institute of Technology and also from the link provided at the end of this post. The application form duly filled in all respect along-with prescribed non- refundable processing fee and attested copies of necessary documents should reach the office of THE REGISTRAR, NIT, HAMIRPUR (HP) 177-005 ON OR BEFORE 25TH JULY, 2014 BY 5.00 PM. Incomplete applications will not be entertained. The application form and other details may be downloaded from the institute website http://www.nith.ac.in. No other means/mode of application will be accepted. The candidates are advised to ensure their eligibility before applying for these posts.

Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit should not exceed 30 years for Technical posts and the age limit as 37 years for Jr Assistant and Technician posts. Age relaxation is applicable as per the Govt. rules.
Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess the following qualification. Read more here.
Junior Assistants: 10+2 in any discipline with a minimum Typing Speed of 35 w.p.m and proficiency in Computer Word Processing and Spread Sheet.
Technical Assistants: First class Diploma in Engineering in relevant field with excellent academic record OR B.E/ B. Tech. in relevant field from a recognized University or Institute.
For Technician: B.Sc. Degree in relevant field from a recognized University/Institute (Laboratory Assistant).
Application Fee: Candidates are required to pay Rs. 250 as application fee in the form of Demand Draft in favour of Registrar NIT hamirpur H.P Payable at Hamirpur.
Selection Process: Selected of suitable candidates will be made based on their performance in Trade Test/ Interview.
Pay Scale:
- For Junior Assistants: Rs. 5200 to Rs. 20,200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2000/-.
- For Technical Assistant: Rs. 9300 to Rs. 34,800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-.
- For Technician: Rs. 5200 to Rs. 20,200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2000/-.
How to Apply: All those candidates who wish to apply for Jr Assistant and Technician posts in National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur, they are required to submit their application in the prescribed format along with original and attested copies of certificates, educational qualifications to following address on or before 25th July 2014.

- Interested candidates may apply only on the prescribed application form, which may be downloaded from the website www.nith.ac.in.No other application form will be entertained.
- Application forms complete in all respects along with attested copies of certificates, should reach the office of the Registrar on or before the last date of receipt of the application. Incomplete application forms will not be entertained.
- Caste Certificate of SCI ST I OBC should be on the prescribed proforma only issued by the competent authority as per Actl Orders of Government of India under which the same IS recognized as SCI ST/OBC.
