National Sample Survey Office (Field Operations Division), Ministry of Statistics & Programme, Implementation, Government of India invites applications from eligible candidates for the posts as mentioned below. The interested candidates can apply on the prescribed application form which could be downloaded from the official website of the NSSO and also from the link provided at the end of this post. No other means/mode of application will be accepted. The candidates are advised to ensure their eligibility before applying for these posts. The recruitment of these posts is purely on contract basis. The selection of Candidates will be made on the basis of their performance in personal interview. The brief details are as under :
- Name of the Posts: Field Investigators
- Total Number of Vacancies: 652 Posts
Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 21 years to 30 years as on 01-07-2014. Age relaxation is applicable as per the Govt. rules.
Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess the qualification of Graduation Degree from a recognized University with Statistics/ Economics/mathematics as one of the papers at Degree Level. Candidates must have knowledge of English Computer Applications like MS Office etc.
Application Fee: No application fee is required for above mentioned posts.
Pay Scale: Rs. 16,500/- per month will be given as remuneration.
How to Apply: All those candidates who wish to apply for Field Investigators posts in Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MOSPI), they are required to submit their applications in the prescribed format along with hard copy of application with all required documents to the Regional Head Office on or before 29th June 2014.
