BSF Recruitment of Various Posts 2014-15

Directorate General Border Security Force (BSF), New Delhi invites applications from eligible candidates for the posts as mentioned below. The interested candidates can apply on the prescribed application format which could be downloaded from the official website of BSF. No other means/mode of application will  be accepted. The candidates are advised to ensure thier eligibility before applying for these posts. The brief details are as under :

Pay Scale

1. SI (Workshop): Rs.9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs.4200/- 
2. SI (Master): Rs.9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs.4200/- 
3. SI (Engine Driver): Rs.9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs.4200/- 
4. HC (Master): Rs.5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs.2400/- 
5. HC (Engine Driver): Rs.5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs.2400/- 
6. HC (Workshop): Rs.5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs.2400/- 
7. CT (Crew): Rs.5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs.2000/-

Educational Qualification:

1. SI (Workshop): Graduation in Mechanical Engineering OR Diploma in Mechanical or Marine or Automobile Engineering.
2. SI (Master): 12th or equivalent and Master Certificate issued by the Central/State Inland Water Transport Authority or Mercantile Marine Department.
3. SI (Engine Driver): 12th or equivalent and Engine Driver Certificate from the Central/State Inland Water Transport Authority or Mercantile Marine Department.
4. HC (Master): 10th and Serang certificate.
5. HC (Engine Driver): 10th and Engine Driver Certificate.
6. HC (Workshop): 10th and Industrial Training Diploma in Motor Mechanic Machinist, Welder, Fitter etc.
7. CT (Crew): 10th, 1 year experience in operating boat below 265 HP as a Greaser or Sukhani and knowledge of swimming.

Age Limit

• Candidate’s age should be between 20-25 years for SI (Workshop), HC (Master), HC (Engine Driver), HC (Workshop) and CT (Crew).
• Candidate’s age should be between 22-28 years for SI (Master) and SI (Engine Driver). 

How to apply :-  Eligible candidates can send their applications in the prescribed format as available in the website www.bsf.nic.in with recent passport size photographs, attested copies of all related certificates and super scribe the top of the envelope with name of the post applied in bold letters at one of the examination centres within 30 days from the date of Publication of the advertisement.
