ONGC Recruitment of Various Posts 2014-15

OIL AND NATURAL GAS CORPORATION LIMITED (ONGC) invites applications from eligible candidates for various posts as mentioned below vide Advertisement No.1/2014. Eligible applicants would be required to apply Online ONLY (on the internet) through the link available in ONGC’s website: www.ongcindia.com. No other mode, repeat no other mode of application shall be accepted. All applicants must fulfill the essential requirements of the post and other conditions stipulated in the advertisement. Eligible candidates will be required to appear for Written test (Multiple choice Questions Objective Type) comprising two sections – Domain related and General Awareness for a total duration of Two hours. The selected candidates will be appointed subject to medical fitness as per rules of the Corporation. The brief details are as under :

Level W-1

1. Health Care Attendant Gd I: 01 Post

Total Number of Posts = 138  Posts

Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 18 - 33 years. Relaxation in Age will be given as per Government Rules. Please read the official advertisement for detailed information.

Educational Qualification: Degree / Diploma in relevant trade / category required. Candidates are advised to read the official recruitment notification in this regard. 

Selection process : Selection will be made on basis of written test, psychometric test and personal interview 

Application Fee: The application fees for  General and OBC Candidates is  Rs. 300/- and for SC Candidates the fees is  Rs. 100/-

How to Apply : Interested candidates should visit official website www.ongcindia.com and submit form online mode only. It is only method available to apply for ONGC recruitment project.  Before registering/submitting their applications on the website the candidate should possess the followings:

• Valid self E-mail ID& Mobile No.
• Challan form downloaded and duly filled with the fee deposited and acknowledged by the concerned bank.
• Scanned copies of recent passport size colour photograph of the candidate with white background (not more than 50 KB size) and signature of the candidate (not more than 20 KB size)

Candidate can apply within the same level with requiring qualification, for more than one post by giving preference of choice for the post indicated in online application with one time Registration / Processing Charges applicable as mentioned above. [Procedure:- Candidates can select qualification from dropdown and second field will show posts relevant to the particular qualification, for which one can apply. The candidates can select multiple posts assigning preferences. For example a candidate can select A-2 Level and thereafter select „Diploma in Mechanical Engineer‟ as the qualification, further under Mechanical Engineering, the candidate can apply for AT(Mech) and A T(Production). A candidate cannot apply for both A-2 as well as A-1 Level posts even if he possesses eligible qualification for both. 

All information regarding examination schedule/ admit card/ interview call letters etc. shall be available on the website of  ONGC-www.ongcindia.com.. No admit cards/Interview call letters shall be sent to the candidates by post.ONGC will not be responsible for any loss of E-mail/ SMS sent, due to invalid/ wrong E-mail ID /Mobile No. etc. provided by the candidate or delivery of Emails to spam/bulk mail folder etc. 

General Instructions : 

1. All applicants must fulfill the essential requirements of the post and other conditions stipulated in the advertisement. They are advised to satisfy themselves before applying. No enquiry asking for advice as to eligibility will be entertained.
2. Reservation provided for PWD candidates is as per the instructions on the subject. 
3. Applicants are required to apply online only. No manual/ paper application will be entertained. 
4. Screening and selection will be based on the details provided by the candidate; hence it is necessary that applicants should furnish only accurate, full and correct information. Furnishing of wrong/ false information will be a disqualification and ONGC will NOT be responsible for any consequence of furnishing of such wrong/ false information. 
5. Candidature of the registered candidate is liable to be rejected at any stage of recruitment process or after recruitment or joining if any information provided by the candidate is found false or is not found in conformity with eligibility criteria mentioned in the advertisement. 
6. Eligible SC/ST/PWD candidates called for written test will be reimbursed second class rail/ bus fare by the shortest route, on production of railway ticket / number or bus ticket (candidate opting for examination city other than the city nearest from mailing address will not be paid TA). 
7. Requests for change of mailing address, test centre/ category / discipline as declared in the online application, will not be entertained. 
8. The Print out of registration slip should not be tampered with. In case of any overwriting or tampering of Registration slip, the candidature of candidate shall be rejected. 
9. Candidates should retain the copy of their Challan/ Registration Slip/ Admit Card/ Interview Call letter for future reference. 
10. Candidates are required to deposit the applicable non refundable registration fee, as indicated in payment methodology at point G-7 above, at any branch of State Bank of India. Candidature of applicants submitting less than the requisite registration fee will be summarily rejected. 
11. Candidates in employment of Public Sector Undertaking/ Govt. service will be required to produce No Objection Certificate at the time of interview. However such candidates need not require employment exchange registration. 
12. ONGC departmental candidates must ensure filling their own CPF Number of ONGC in the appropriate field in the online form, failing which they shall not repeat SHALL NOT be screened/ considered as departmental candidates from ONGC 
13. Court of jurisdiction for any such dispute will be Surat. 
14. Fee once paid will NOT be refunded on any account nor can it be held in reserve for any other examination or selection process.
