Maharastra Public Service Commission (MPSC) invites applications from eligible candidates for the 260 posts of Police Sub Inspectors vide Notification No. 1442(2)(2)/2014/Three. The interested candidates can apply in ONLINE mode only through the link provided on the official website of MPSC. No other means/mode of application will be accepted. The candidates are advised to ensure their eligibility before applying for these posts.The selection of candidates will be made on the basis of their performance in written examination, physical efficiency test and Interview. The Commission has made a Checklist for Users. Below is the list of document that candidate should keep ready while using MPSC - Online Application System first time.
A) Mobile No: – Valid mobile no is required for registration of user in the system.
B) Email ID: – Valid Email ID is required for registration of user in the system.
C) Documents: (Photograph & Signature) – Scanned copy of photograph in JPEG/JPG format Max size 50kb (Dimensions: breadth 3.5 cms * height 4.5 cms) – Scanned copy of signature in JPEG/JPG format Max size 50kb (Dimensions: breadth 3.5 cms * height 1.5 cms)

Number of Posts: 260 Posts
Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 19 years to 28 years as on 01-08-2014. Age relaxation is applicable as per the rules.
Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess the qualification of Graduation Degree from any recognized university. Read notification.
Application Fee: General and other unreserved candidates are required to pay Rs. 415/- while SC/ ST and other reserved candidates will have to pay only Rs. 315/- & Rs. 15/- for Ex-Service man candidates as application fee.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800/- will be provided with Grade pay of Rs. 4200/-.
How to Apply: All those candidates who wish to apply for Police Sub Inspector posts in Maharashtra through MPSC, they are required to apply through online mode by filling online application form on its official website at www.mahaonline.gov.in on or before 27th August 2014. Online Application Form: Before start applying online make sure candidates have scan file of photo and signature.
