Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) (Wholly owned Government of Karnataka Undertaking) invites applications from eligible candidates for 324 posts of Assistant Lineman vide Employment Notification No. BESCOM/BC-50/2521/2014-15 Dated 11.09.2014 for ALM ITI candidates. Age Limits : Minimum: 18 years, Maximum: 35 years
[Maximum age limit for Category IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB candidates is 38 years and for SC/ ST Category candidates is 40 years]
Educational Qualification :
- For Lineman trade/ Electrician trade: passed Class 10th with Certificate of 3 years ‘Lineman trade/ Electrician trade’ (ITC) imparted by the Industrial Training Institutes of KEB/ KPTCL
- For Electrician/ Electronics/ Electronic Mechanic trade: possessing pass certificate of 18/ 24 months Course in “Electrician/ Electronics/ Electronic Mechanic” trade from Industrial Training Institutes (ITI)
Selection Procedure: Selection of candidates will be done on merit basis, based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination and their performance in the Endurance Test and verification of documents.
Application Fee: Non-refundable application fee is to be paid through Net Banking (Internet Banking) or using ATM-cum-Debit card or Credit card or off-Line through fee payment challan in any branch of State Bank of India.
- For Lineman trade/ Electrician trade: Rs.500 for General category & Category I, IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB candidates and Rs.250 for SC/ ST category candidates
- For Electrician/ Electronics/ Electronic Mechanic trade: Rs.400 for General category & Category I, IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB candidates and Rs.200 for SC/ ST category candidates
How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates should apply online through BESCOM website www.bescom.org.in from 22 September 2014 till 23 October 2014 (1600 hours)
After submitting the online application form, candidates should take a print-out of the acknowledgement form and challan form and furnish the same as and when called for.
