BESCOM Recruitment of Assistant Engineers/ Assistant Accounts Officers 2014-15

Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) (Wholly  owned  Government  of Karnataka  Undertaking) invites applications only  from  the local  persons  of Hyderabad Karnataka region  qualified  and eligible  candidates  for  the posts of Assistant  Engineer (Elec/Civil), Assistant  Accounts Officer, and Junior  Engineer  (Elecl.,)/Civil. The interested candidates can apply in ONLINE mode only through the link provided on the official website of BESCOM. No other means/mode of application will be accepted, The selection to these posts shall be made purely  on the  basis  of the  marks  secured  in  the  Aptitude Test,  duly  following  reservation  policy  of  Government  of Karnataka. 1. Assistant Engineer (Electrical): For BE (Electrical)/AMIE in Electrical : 12 Posts
2. Assistant Engineer (Ele) (Graduate):-BE Graduate  in Computer  Engineering         /Information Science/ Information  Technology :  1 Post
3. Assistant Engineer (Ele)(Graduate):-BE Graduate in Electronics and             Telecommunication /Electronics and Communication Engineering : 1 Post
4. Assistant Engineer (Civil): BE Graduate  in Civil  Engineering : 1 Post
5. Assistant Accounts Officer:- For M.Com/MBA  (Finance)/ pass in ICWA : Posts
6. Junior Engineer (Electrical)/Store Keeper Gr-2 :- For Diploma in Electrical  Engineering :  15 Posts
7. Junior Engineer (Electrical):- For Diploma in Computer  Engineering : 2 Posts
8. Junior Engineer (Electrical):- For Diploma in Electronics/Telecommunication  Engineering : 1 Post
9. Junior Engineer (Civil):- For Diploma in Civil Engineering : 1 Post

Educational Qualifications : 

Assistant  Engineer (Elec.) 

Should  possess/ acquire BE of a recognized University/  Institute or AMIE (India) qualification  in a) Electrical  b) Computer Science  c) Information  Science  d) Information Technology   e) Electronics & telecommunications       f) Electronics & Communication  Engineering. 

Assistant  Engineer (Civil) 

Should  have a degree in civil  Engineering  of a recognized University  or equivalent  qualification  or pass in AMIE section A&B (civil) 

Assistant  Accounts Officer 

Should  be a M.Com Graduate of a recognized University  or pass in ICWA/MBA(Finance) 

Junior  Engineer (Elec.)/Store  Keeper Gr-2 

Should  have a Diploma  in Electrical/Computer/Electronics/Telecommunication  Engineering  of a Polytechnic of the State of Karnataka or Equivalent  qualification. 

Junior  Engineer  (Civil) 

Should  have a Diploma  in Civil  Engineering  of a Polytechnic of the State of Karnataka or Equivalent  qualification. 

Application Fees : The  application  fees  prescribed  for  applying  to the said  posts is  as follows: 

• Rs.4000/- (Rupees  Four  Thousand  Only)  in   respect  of   candidates   belonging   to  General   Category   and Category  I, IIA,IIB,  IIIA,  IIIB.
• Rs2000/- (Rupees  Two  Thousand  Only)  in  respect  of candidates  belonging  to SC/ST Category.

How to apply : 

1. Application should be submitted strictly 'ONLINE' by logging on   to BESCOM   website   www.bescom.org.  Applications  will  not  be accepted by any  other  mode.   
2. The  candidates  should  fill  up the  e-mail  ID  and  mobile  number  in  the  application  since, future correspondence  with  them  will  be over e-mail  (or SMS if  necessary). 
3. The website  will  be kept open for submitting  online  applications  from  01/10/2014 to 30/10/2014. The  last  date for submission  of application  is 30/10/2014 till  4pm.          
4. Candidates  are allowed  to  apply  only   once  and  application  once  submitted  cannot  be altered under  any  circumstances.
5. Payment  should  be  made  by  DD  only.  DD  should  be  drawn  in  favour  of  General Manager (A&HR),  BESCOM payable  at Bangalore. 
6. Fees paid  once shall  not  be refunded  under  any  circumstances  or adjusted  towards future   recruitments.  
7. After  submitting  the  application  ONLINE the candidates  should  obtain  the  print-outs  of   acknowledgment  and scanned  copy of Demand  Draft  and  produce as when  called  by the     BESCOM. 
8. Candidates  should  submit  the  application  well  in  advance  without  waiting  for  the  last     date prescribed  for  submission. 

Age Limit : 

The  candidates  should  have  attained   the   age  of  18  Years as on the last  date fixed  for  receipt of  application  and shall  not  be more  than;       

• 35 Years  in  case of General  Merit  candidates.  
• 38 Years in  case of  Category  IIA, IIB,  IIIA, IIIB  Candidates.         
• 40 Years  in  case of SC/ST and Category  I candidates.
