Government of India, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) invites applications from eligible candidates for various posts as mentioned below vide Advertisement No. 1/2014-R-III. The interested candidates can apply in ONLINE mode only through the link provided on the official website of BARC. No other means/mode of application will be accepted. The candidates are advised to ensure their eligibility before applying for these posts. The selection of Candidates will be made on the basis of Written Test, Skill Test, Interview for Stenographer, Physical Test, Written Test & Interview for Assistant Security Officer, Personal Interview for Canteen Attendant. The brief details are as under :
Name and Number of Posts:
- Canteen Attendant: 15 posts
- Stenographer Grade-III: 13 posts
- Stenographer Grade-II: 05 posts
- Assistant Security Officer “A”: 03 posts
Total No. of Posts: 36
Age Limit: Candidates minimum age limit is 18 years upper age limit is 40 years for Engineer, 35 years for Supervisor, 27 years for Cost Accountant as on 16-01-2015. Relaxation in upper age limit is up to a maximum of three years for OBC candidates.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Matriculation or Equivalent for S.No.1 post, Matriculation or equivalent with minimum speed of 80 w.p.m in English Shorthand & 30 w.p.m in English Typewriting for S.No.2 post, Matriculation or equivalent & minimum speed of 100 w.p.m in English Shorthand & 45 w.p.m in English Typewriting for S.No.3 post, Graduate from a recognized University, NCC ‘C’ Certificate and State Level Sports Certificate will be preferred for S.No.4 post. Knowledge of Computer Application, Data Entry & Data Processing for both Stenographer posts.
Application Fee: Candidates has to pay Rs.100/- for Canteen Attendant & Stenographer Gr.III, Rs.150/- for Stenographer Gr.II & Assistant Security Officer “A”.SC/ ST, Women Candidates, Ex-Servicemen and Physically challenged persons are exempted from Application fee.
