Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, Lucknow has issued a notification for recruitment of 07 Posts of Programmer Grade-2 in the Pay Scale of Rs. 9300-34800 plus Grade Pay of Rs. 4600 and 2842 Posts of Computer Operator Grade-A in the Pay Scale of Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 2400 vide no. PRPB-AK-3(1) 2012. The interested candidates can apply in ONLINE mode only through the link provided on the official website of Uttar Pradesh Police. No other means/mode of Application will be accepted. The registration will start on 13-05-2013 and will be available up to 12-06-2013. After this the link will be disabled. There will be an Application Fee of Rs. 200/- for this recruitment process. The selection of Candidates will be made on the basis of Written Examination which will be 200 Marks followed by a Computer Typing Test. The written test will comprise of General Knowledge, Reasoning and Computer Science. To qualify in the written test, the candidate will need minimum 40% marks. Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 18 years to 28 years for Computer Operator posts and 21-30 yrs for Programmer posts as on 01 July 2013.
