Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi, Directorate of Education invites applications from eligible candidates for engagement of Guest Teachers for the post(s) of Assistant Teacher (Primary/Nursery), Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) and Post Graduate Teacher (PGT/Lecturer) in Delhi Government Schools for the year 2014-15. Guest Teachers shall be engaged purely on adhoc and daily basis till the posts are filled up on regular basis. Guest Teachers shall not be entitled to regular appointment. This is purely a stop gap arrangement. The candidates so engaged shall not claim salary, allowances, facilities and other benefits accruing to the regular teachers. The candidates so engaged as Guest Teachers shall not file any court case regarding salary and requlartzation etc. Engagement of Guest Teachers is done Districtwise. Subject-wise vacancies in each District are at Annexure. However, the number of vacancies is tentative and is subject to change. Department reserves the right to alter the number of vacancies at any time. Directorate of Education will maintain a wait list / panel of candidates to meet any requirement in the Current Academic Year. The brief details are as under :

Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be below 36 years for PGT/EVGCs, below 30 years for Male and 40 years for Female for TGTs and not exceed 30 years for remaining posts. Age limit should be reckoned as on 01-07-2014. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Post Graduate degree in the subject concerned, with B. Ed for PGTs, Bachelor Degree (Hons/ Pass) or equivalent from a recognized university in the concerned subject with B.Ed for TGTs and Graduate with Bachelor’s of Physical Education (B.P. Ed.) or its equivalent for Post No.3, Graduate with B.Ed (Special Education) or B.Ed with two years diploma in special Education for Post No.4, B.A. Degree with Music as one of the subject from a recognized University for Post No.5, MA in Drawing and Painting/ Fine art from a recognized University for Post No.6, Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent diploma in Library Science from a recognized University Institute or equivalent for Post No.7. Selection Process: Candidates would be selected on merit basis.
How to apply : Willing candidates may register themselves with anyone District of choice online on our website www.edudel.nic in from 30.07.2014 (11.00 AM) to 07.08.2014 (UPTO 6 PM). Submission of applications other than online shall not be entertained and any deviation in this regard shall lead to summary rejection. Applicants are strictly instructed not to send any hard copy of the application to this department.
