Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) February 2015 Examination by CBSE

The Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi is going to conduct the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for classes I to VIII on 22.02.2015 (Sunday). The interested candidates can apply in ONLINE mode only through the link provided on the official website of CBSE. No other means/mode of application will be accepted. The candidates are advised to ensure their eligibility before applying for this test. 

The CTET shall apply to schools of the Central Government (KVS, NVS, Tibetan Schools, etc) and schools under the Administrative Control of UT of Chandigarh,Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Daman & Diu, Dadra & Nagar Haveli and NCT of Delhi. CTET may also apply to the unaided private schools, who may exercise the option of considering the CTET. Schools owned and managed by the State Government/local bodies and aided schools shall consider the TET conducted by the State Government. However, a State Government can also consider the CTET if it decides not to conduct the State TET. 

Only qualifying the CTET would not confer a right on any person for Recruitment/employment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment. The candidate must retain a copy of his/her filled in Confirmation Page, Original Receipt of Candidate Copy of Challan if fees paid through Bank Challan for record and future reference, if required.

Procedure for submission of Online Application Form of CTET-FEB 2015 

1. Please read the Information Bulletin of CTET FEB 2015 carefully before you start filling the Online Application Form. 

2. Candidates can apply for CTET-FEB 2015 ‘ON-LINE through website www.ctet.nic.in. Candidates can apply on-line at CTET website ww.ctet.nic.in. The candidate should supply all details while filling the ONLINE FORM. Candidates are required to take a print out of the computer generated Confirmation Page with Registration Number after successful submission of data upload of images and payment of fees for record and future reference. The confirmation page SHOULD NOT  be sent to CBSE. 

3 The application for CTET-FEB 2015 has been made completely online with the facility to upload photograph and signature of the applicant. The particulars will be filled online and the scanned images of photograph and signature (in JPG format only) will be uploaded at the time of filling the application form. The candidates/facilitation centres are advised to keep the scanned images of photograph and signature of the candidates ready in JPG format before applying online. 

4 The candidate should mention their own Mobile No., E-mail ID, Photograph and Signature while submitting their On-Line application as the CTET alerts will send to the candidates on their registered Mobile Number and E-mail ID.  

 Application Procedure: 4 Simple Steps to be followed to apply online. 

Step 1 : Fill in the Online Application Form 
Step 2: Upload Scanned Images of Photograph and Signature.  
  • The scanned images of photographs and signature should be in jpg format.
  • Size of the photo image must be greater than 4 kb and less than 100 kb.
  • Size of the signature image must be greater than 1 kb and less than 25 kb.
  • Image Dimension of photograph should be 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height) only.
  • Image Dimension of signature should be 3.5 cm (length) x 1.5 cm (height) only.

Step 3: Pay Examination Fee by Challan or debit/credit card: 
Step 4: Print Confirmation page for your record and future reference, if required. 

The candidate particulars entered can be edited till the payment of fees has not been made. The candidate’s particulars cannot be changed/edited once the examination fees have been submitted. Thereafter correction can be made during the period online corrections will be permitted from 16-01-2015 to 23-01-2015.

CTET - 2014 Notification for Primary / Elementary Teachers

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Central Teacher Eligibility Test Unit invites applications from eligible candidates for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) to be held in Sep-2014 for Primary/ Elementary Teachers. The intersted candidates can apply in ONLINE mode only through the link provided on the official website of CBSE.  No other means/mode of application will be accepted. The brief details are as under : 

Name of Test : Central Teacher Eligibility Test   (CTET) Sep-2014 for Primary/ Elementary Teachers

Application Fee  :  Rs.600/- for only paper -I or II (Rs.300/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates) OR  Rs.1000/- for both papers  (Rs.500/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates) online through Debit/Credit Card or download Payment Challan for payment in the designated accounts of Syndicate Bank/ Canara Bank in favour of Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi. 

How to Apply : Apply Online at CBSE CTET website from 15/07/2014 to 04/08/2014 only.

Application Procedure: 4 Simple Steps to be followed to apply online

Step 1: Fill in the Online Application Form and note down system generated Registration No. The candidate should supply all details while filling the Online Form. The Application Form mainly contains the personal details and contact details of the candidates. After successful submission of the data, Registration No. will be generated and it will be used to complete the remaining Steps of the Application Form and also required for all future correspondence.

Step 2: Upload Scanned Images of Photograph and Signature 
  • The scanned images of photographs and signature should be in jpg format.
  • Size of the photo image must be greater than 4 kb and less than 100 kb.
  • Size of the signature image must be greater than 1 kb and less than 25 kb.
  • Image Dimension of photograph should be 3.5 cm(width) * 4.5 cm(Height) only
  • Image Dimension of signature should be 3.5 cm(length) * 1.5 cm(Height) only
  • * NOTE : THE Candidate particulars can be edited till the payment of fees by Debit/Credit Card has not been made or the challan is not downloaded.Once the payment of fee has been made / challan downloaded, candidate particulars cannot be edited at this stage. Thereafter corrections can be made only during the period in which on-line corrections will be allowed as per the given schedule of CTET - SEPT 2014.


Step 3: Pay Examination Fee by challan or debit/credit card: 
  • For Payment by Syndicate Bank/ Canara Bank challan: The candidate has to select “Bank e-Challan” (Syndicate/Canara Bank) to submit the application fee through bank. As soon as he/she selects, an e-Challan will be generated containing details of the candidate along with amount to be paid as per their category and paper(s) opted. The candidate has to take a printout of the same and take it to the nearest Core Banking Service (CBS) facility enabled Branch of the respective Bank for making payment. After payment, the candidate has to login again to the system and enter the details written on the e-Challan by the bank official like Transaction ID, Branch Code, Branch Name and date of fee deposit. After the details are uploaded, a Confirmation Page will be generated. 
  • OR Candidate can also pay fee by Debit/ Credit Card of any bank.


Step 4: Download Confirmation Page for your record and future reference, if required.
  • Note : Candidates are NOT REQUIRED to send hard copy of confirmation page to CTET unit. However, the candidates are advised to retain the hard copy of the application i.e. confirmation page, challan if fees is paid by challan, for future reference.

Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), (An Autonomous Organization under Ministry of HRD, Department of School Education and Literacy), Government of India invites applications from eligible candidates for the posts of Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) and Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs) on direct recruitment basis. The interested candidates can apply in ONLINE mode only through the link provided on the official website of NVS at . www.navodaya.nic.in. No other means/mode of application will be accepted. Candidates are advised to read official recruitment notification for detailed information about NVS Recruitment for Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) and Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs) post regarding age limit, educational qualifications, last date, pay scale, how to apply and online application form.  The selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of their performance in written examination and interview put together.  The brief details are as under :

Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit should not exceed 40 years for the post of PGTs  and age limit should not exceed 35 years for the post of TGTs as on 31-01-2014. 

The category wise age relaxation will be as under : 

For SC/ ST Category candidates: 5 years
For OBC Candidates: 3 years
For Women SC/ ST/ OBC candidates:  10 years
For NVS Employee: 5 years


Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess the following qualification.

For Post Graduate Teacher: Two year Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc. Course from Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate or Master Degree from any recognized university in the concerned subjects.

For Trained Graduate Teacher: Four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT with minimum of  50% marks in the concerned subject as well as in the aggregate or Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from a recognized University with 50% marks or above in aggregate as well as in the concerned subjects.

Application Fee: Candidates are required to pay Rs. 560/- (Rs. 500/- as application fee and Rs. 60/- as Bank Service charges) in the form of bank challan at the nearest Branch of Union Bank of India.  No application fee is to paid by SC/ ST/ PH categories and women candidates.  

Pay Scale: 

For PGT Post: Rs. 9300-34800 (Grade Pay Rs.4800)
For TGT Post: Rs. 9300-34800 (Grade Pay Rs.4600)

How to Apply: The interested and eligible candidates who wish to apply for Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) and Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs) posts in Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, they are required to apply through online mode by filling online application on NVS’s official website at www.navodaya.nic.in from 1st February to 28th February 2014. Before filling online application, candidates must have email ID, scanned copies of photo and signature. After filling online application candidates are required to take print out of the same and affix a recent passport size photograph on it and keep it for record purpose.

Important Instructions : 
  • Log on to NVS’s official website at www.navodaya.nic.in.
  • Navigate to ‘Recruitment of Teachers in NVS – 2014′ section.
  • Now click on ‘Recruitment of PGTs & TGTs in JNVs – 2014′.
  • Click on ‘Online Application form for Recruitment of PGTs & TGTs – 2014’.
  • Fill application form with all mandatory details and upload the scanned copy of photograph and signature and submit.
  • Now submit your application and note down the login ID and password.
  • Take print out Fee payment challan and pay the fee as mentioned above.
  • Visit the same website once again.
  • Take print out of application for further use.

  • Last Date for Online Registration form: 28-02-2014
  • Last Date for Depositing Application fee in Bank: 01-03-2014

Download Admit Card for CTET 2014

Have you applied for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) to be conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in February 2014 and are you looking for CTET Feb 2014 Admit Card? Then you can now download the same from the official website of CBSE as all is set to conduct examination for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET 2014 ) and Admit Cards are available on the site. Written examination for CTET 2014 has scheduled to be held on 16th February 2014 by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).  
All those candidates who are going to appear at CTET written examination 2014, they are required to download Admit Card/ Call letter for examination.   • Take print out of Admit card.
Candidates are strongly advised to download their CTET admit card and take print out of the same as soon as possible to avoid the rush hours on working website.
