University Grants Commission Recruitment of Lower Division Clerks for Under Graduates - 2013

University Grants Commission (UGC), a statutory body under the administrative control of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India, invites applications from eligible candidates for the posts of Lower Division Clerks vide Ref.No. F. 5-1/99 (Admn.I/C) Dated: 25.05.2013. The interested candidates can apply in ONLINE mode only through the link provided on the official website of UGC at http://www.ugc.ac.in. No other means/mode of application will be accepted by UGC. Candidates are advised in their own interest to ensure their eligibility before applying for these posts. The selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of the Open Competitive Examination as conducted by UGC. The examination will comprise of a written objective type examination followed by a Skill Test. The skill test will be conducted at Delhi/NCR and on computers only. However, the skill/typing test will be of qualifying nature only. A candidate has to qualify the written examination as well as skill/typing test to be considered for appointment. Number of Posts: 100 Posts

Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20200 Grade Pay of Rs. 1900

Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess Matriculation (10th class) or Higher examination from a recognized Board / University.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the age of 18 yrs and must not crossed the age of 25 yrs as on 01-01-2013. 

(Relaxation in Age will be as per Government Rules)

Examination Fee : Rs. 300/- for Unreserved candidates, Rs. 200/- for OBC candidates and no fee required to pay for SC / ST / Physically Challenged / Female candidates.

CSIR will hold the Joint CSIR-UGC test for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) Eligibility for Lectureship NET  December 2012 in Chemical Sciences, Earth, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences, Engineering Sciences   on 23/12/2012 for which the OMR application form and bulletin will be available in the designated branches of Indian Bank and Oriental Bank of Commerce from 21/08/2012 to 18/09/2012.

Application can also be submitted online in the above dates at CSIR website http://www.csirhrdg.res.in only.

Last date of receipt of duly completed OMR application / hard copy of Online application form, with all the enclosures to the Sr. Controller of the Examinations, Examination Unit, HRDG, CSIR complex, Library Avenue, Pusa, New Delhi - 110012 is 24/09/2012 (01/10/2012 for the candidates from far-flung areas).

It is hereby informed to all the candidates who are going to apply for the UGC National Eligibility Test December, 2011 for Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Lectureship, the date for fee submission and date for online application submission is extended upto Oct 31, 2011. Last date for submitting the hard copies of application to the chosen center is extended upto Nov 08, 2011.
