  18. Log in by registration ID & password, candidates can see “My Active Application (My draft Application)” link.
  19. Now fill the details of transaction ID and Date of Transaction if paid through cash.
  20. Click “Continue”, check the details of fee and submit the application.
  21. Now take the printout copies of application attach the attested copies of all documents and keep it for future use.

Selection Procedure : The following selection procedure will be adopted by the Bank for selection of above mentioned post :

(i) Manager & Asstt. Manager (Chartered Accountant), Manager (Official Language), Dy. Manager (law), Dy. Manager & Asstt. Manager (Civil Engineer), Dy. & Asstt. Manager (Electrical Engineer), Asstt. Manager (System), Chief Manager (Economist): The selection of candidates will be on the basis of online written test and interview. The test will be conducted tentatively on 14.06.2015 (In case the number of applicants are less, Bank reserves the right to complete the selection process through short listing and interview instead of through online written test and interview). The date of test will be uploaded on Bank's website and also advised to the candidates through SMS and e mails. Candidates will be required to download the call letters. The test may be held at Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Bangalore, Bhopal, Raipur, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Jammu, Srinagar, Chennai, Madurai, Guwahati, Hyderabad / Secunderabad, Vishakhapatnam, Kolkata / Greater Kolkata, Lucknow, Varanasi, Mumbai / Greater Mumbai / Thane / Navi Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune, Dehradun, Jaipur, New Delhi/ Delhi/ NCR, Patna, Ranchi, Ernakulam & Trivandrum centres. The Bank, however, reserves the right to add or delete any centre and allot the candidate to any centre other than the one he/she has opted for.

General Information :

(i) Candidates should satisfy themselves about their eligibility for the post applied for. The Bank would admit to the online test all the candidates applying for the posts with the requisite fee on the basis of the information furnished in the online application and shall determine their eligibility only at the time of interview.

(ii) Candidates serving in Govt./Quasi Govt. offices, Public Sector undertakings including Nationalised Banks and Financial Institutions are advised to submit ‘No Objection Certificate’ from their employer at the time of interview, failing which their candidature may not be considered and travelling expenses, if any, otherwise admissible, will not be paid.

(iii) In case of selection, candidates will be required to produce proper discharge certificate from the employer at the time of taking up the appointment.

(iv) Caste certificate issued by Competent Authority on format prescribed by the Government of India will have to be submitted by the SC/ST candidates, if called for interview.

(v) A declaration will have to be submitted in the prescribed format by candidates seeking reservation under OBC category stating that he/she does not belong to the creamy layer as on 01.04.2015. OBC certificate containing the ‘Non-creamy layer’ clause, issued during the period 01.04.2015 to the date of interview, should be submitted by such candidates, if called for interview.

(vi) Candidates are advised in their own interest to apply online much before the closing date and not to wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection / inability / failure to log on to the website on account of heavy load on internet or website jam.

(vii) SBI does not assume any responsibility for the candidates not being able to submit their applications within the last date on account of aforesaid reasons or for any other reason beyond the control of SBI. 

(viii) Not more than one application should be submitted by a candidate. In case of multiple applications, only the last valid (completed) application will be retained and the application fee / intimation charges paid for the other registrations will stand forfeited. Multiple attendance/ appearance by a candidate in online examination and/interview will be summarily rejected/ candidature cancelled.

(ix) The possibility for occurrence of some problems in the administration of the examination cannot be ruled out completely, which may impact test delivery and/ or result from being generated. In that event, every effort will be made to rectify such problem, which may include the conduct of another examination if considered necessary.

(x) IN CASE IT IS DETECTED AT ANY STAGE OF RECRUITMENT THAT A CANDIDATE DOES NOT FULFIL THE ELIGIBILITY NORMS AND / OR THAT HE / SHE HAS FURNISHED ANY INCORRECT / FALSE INFORMATION OR HAS SUPPRESSED ANY MATERIAL FACT(S), HIS / HER CANDIDATURE WILL STAND CANCELLED. IF ANY OF THESE SHORTCOMINGS IS / ARE DETECTED EVEN AFTER APPOINTMENT, HIS /HER SERVICES ARE LIABLE TO BE TERMINATED.

(xi) Candidates are advised to keep their e-mail ID alive for receiving advices, viz. call letters/ Interview advices etc. 

(xii) Appointment of selected candidates is subject to his /her being declared medically fit as per the requirement of the Bank concerned.

Age Limit: Candidates age must follow the below mentioned limitations for SBI Specialist officers posts in State Bank Group.
  • For JMGS-I Officers: Age should be between 21 years to 30 years.
  • For MMGS-II Officers: Age should be between 22 years to 30 years.
  • For MMGS-III Officers: Age should be between 21 years to 35 years or 38 years.
  • For SMGS-IV Officers: Age should be between 21 years to 40 years.
  • For SMGS-V Officers: Age should be between 21 years to 45 years.

Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess the following qualification.
  • For Statistician Manager Posts: Full time PG Degree in Statistics/ Applied Statistics/ Econometrics from recognized University with minimum 60% marks in Aggregate.
  • For Manager (Statistician) Posts: Full time PG Degree in Statistics/ Applied Statistics/ Econometrics from recognized University with minimum 60% marks in Aggregate.
  • For Chief Manager (Analysts) Posts: M. Sc. (Statistics /Operations Research/ Computer Science) OR MCA/BE/B.Tech. (CS/IT) OR MBA full time from a reputed Institute.
  • For Asst Manager (Library) Posts: A Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a graduate in any discipline with a Post Graduate degree/ diploma in Library Science from a recognized university.
  • For Manager (Chartered Accountant) Posts: Qualified Chartered Accountant.    
  • For Asst Manager (Economist) Posts: M. A. in Economics (minimum 55% marks) (Economist) with Economics/ Mathematical Economics and M. Phil in related area.
  • For Manager (Risk Rater) Posts: MBA (Finance), preferably with FRM(*)/Post Graduate Diploma (2 years) in Risk Management.
  • For Assistant Manager (Computer System) Posts: B.E./ B. Tech in CSE/IT/EC /EE&T/E&I or M.Sc or MCA.
  • For Manager (Engineering) Posts: A degree in Civil Engineering/ Electrical Engineering from a recognized  University /  Institution with 60% marks.
  • For Manager (Official Language) Posts: Post graduate degree in Hindi with English OR Post graduate degree in Sanskrit with Hindi and English.
  • For manager (Law) Posts: Graduate with a degree in Law or a Law Graduate who has passed 5 years integrated Law course from a recognized  University in India.
  • For Dy. Manager (Security) Posts: An officer with minimum 5 years commissioned service in Army/ Navy/ Air Force or a Police not below the rank of ASP.

Application Fee: General and other unreserved candidates are required to pay Rs. 500/- as application fee while SC/ ST and other reserved category candidates will have to pay only Rs. 100/- as application fee. Application fee should be paid at any of the branches of State Bank of India or by suing Online payment gateway i.e. SBI Net Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card. Pay Scale & Monthly Emoluments:
  • For JMGS-I: Rs. 30,000/-
  • For MMGS-II: Rs. 40,000/-
  • For MMGS-III: Rs. 52,000/-
  • For SMGS-IV: Rs. 63,000/-
  • For SMGS-V: Rs. 75,000/-

How to Apply : All the candidates who are interested to apply for various Specialist Officers posts in State Bank Group, are required to register themselves ONLINE first through the link provide on the  Bank's official website at www.statebankofindia.com or www.sbi.co.in on or before 6th March 2014. After applying ONLINE the  candidates are required to pay the requisite application fee through one of the following modes:

In Offline Mode: The system will generate a cash voucher/ challan form pre-printed with the candidate's details which will be required to be presented at any State Bank of India branch counter with the requisite fee. On payment of the requisite fee through computer generated challan form, registration of the online application will be complete.

In Online Mode: The payment can be made by using debit card/ credit card/ Internet Banking.

Instruction to Apply in ONLINE mode : 
  • Log on to SBI’s official website at www.statebankofindia.com or www.sbi.co.in.
  • Navigate to Recruitment Section.
  • Click on “Apply Online” link under the Lecturer post you want to apply for.
  • Fill application form with all mandatory details, payment details and upload the scanned copy of photograph and signature.
  • Now make payment as mentioned above (Online or Offline).
  • If everything is right, submit your application form.
  • Take print out of application for future references.

Punjab National Bank (PNB) Recruitment of Specialist Officers in Various Disciplines

Punjab National Bank (PNB), Human Resources Development Division, ( A Government of India Undertaking) invites applications from eligible candidates for the posts of Specialist Officers in various disciplines as mentioned below. The interested candidates can apply in ONLINE mode only through the link provided on the official website of PNB at www.pnbindia.in. No other means/mode of application will be accepted. Before applying on-line, a candidate will be required to have a scanned (digital) image of his/her photograph and signature as per the specifications given in the advertisement . The candidates are advised to ensure  that he/she fulfills the eligibility and other norms as per notification. The selection of the candidates will be made through written test (on-line) and/or interview. Merely satisfying the eligibility norms do not entitles a candidate to be called for Test or Interview. Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be 32 years for (Sr.No:1) Posts, 21-35 years for (Sr.No: 2-12) Posts, 21-30 years for (Sr. No. 13-16) Posts as on 01-01-2014. Age relaxation for  SC/ ST is 5 years, other backward classes, Physically Challenged is 10 years.


Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Graduation from the recognized university by Govt. of India for (Sr.No:1) Posts, B.E./ B.Tech. Degree in relevant disciplines  Engineering from a University recognized by Govt. of India for (Sr.No:2,4,6 to 15) Posts, B.Arch./ Degree in Architecture from a University recognized by Govt. of India for (Sr.No:4) Posts. For other Posts qualifications refer notification.

Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs.400/- for General/ OBC/ EXSM category candidates & Rs.50/- for SC/ ST/ PWD category candidates payable from 28-01-2014 to 11-02-2014 (Online payment) & 30-01-2014 to 13-02-2014 (Offline payment).

Payment of Fee through Online Mode:
  • The payment can be made by using only Master/ Visa Debit or Credit cards or Internet Banking by providing information as asked on the screen.
  • If the online transaction has been successfully completed a Registration Number and Password will be generated. Candidates should note their Registration Number and Password for future reference.
  • If the online transaction has not been successfully completed then the following message is displayed ‘Your online transaction was unsuccessful. Please register again’ Candidates may then revisit the ‘Apply Online’ link and fill in their application details again.
  • On successful completion of the transaction, an e-receipt will be generated. Candidates are required to take a printout of the e-receipt.


Payment of Fee through Offline Mode (at counters of PNB branches):
  • Payment of fee/ intimation charges through the offline mode can be made through the CBS branches of Punjab National Bank.
  • After filling in and pressing the “SUBMIT” button in the online application form, a Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidate should note down the Registration Number and Password. An Email & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent.
  • Candidates should take a printout of the system generated fee payment challan immediately.
  • Candidate will receive registration confirmation by SMS/e-mail after two working days from the date of payment of fees/ intimation charges. Please ensure to furnish correct Mobile number / e-mail address to receive the registration confirmation.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply online online on or before 11-02-2014. Caste certificates & other required documents must be submitted at the time of interview. Candidates can apply for only one post. Application for Multiple posts will be rejected.


Instructions for Applying Online:
  1. Candidates should go through website www.pnbindia.in-Link-recruitment & open the Online application form.
  2. Should carefully fill all the details should scan photograph & signature before applying online.
  3. After filling all the details please check again otherwise the candidates may be disqualified before clicking the submit button.
  4. In case the candidate is unable to fill in the application form in one go, he/ she can save the data already entered. When the data is saved, a provisional registration number and password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen.
  5. Candidate should note down the Provisional registration number and password. An Email & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent.
  6. They can reopen the saved data using Provisional registration number and password and edit the particulars, if needed, this facility will be three times only.
  7. Candidates are advised to take a printout of their system generated on-line application form after registering.

  • Closing Date for On-line Registration (Including for Candidates from Far-Flung Areas): 11-02-2014.
  • Date of Written Examination: 23-03-2014.
