Twenty20 World Cup 2012 - Final Match



Friends,

The Twenty20 World Cup 2012 has reached to its end. The final Match will be played on Sunday the 7th of October 2012 at  R.Premadasa Stadium, Colombo between Sri Lanka and  West Indies. Both teams have reached in Finals after a great win over two strong teams Pakistan and Australia which were in one of the winner Teams of Twenty20 World Cup 2012.  In the first Semi-Final Sri Lanka has beaten Pakistan by 16 Runs and in the 2nd Semi Final West Indies has beaten Australia by a huge margin of 74 Runs. 

The Final Match is scheduled to be played at  R.Premadasa Stadium, Colombo between Sri Lanka and  West Indies. The match will start at 13:30 GMT, 19:00 Local time on Sunday October 07, 2012. The stars are favoring West Indies and they could win the Twenty20 World Cup 2012. But the Sri Lanka team is also in full form. They could battle till the last ball of the match to be played to clinch the trophy. And one thing more, Sri Lanka is playing in his Country. This will boost up their moral at the TOP level  So let's see what happens in this match. This match is going to be very interesting.

Twenty20 World Cup 2012 - 2nd Semi-Final

There are only two matches left in the Twenty20 World Cup 2012. One of them is scheduled to be played today. The match will be played between Australia vs West Indies at R.Premadasa Stadium, Colombo, Sri Lanka. The match will start at 13:30 GMT and 19:00 Local time.  Yesterday the first Semi final was played between Sri Lanka and Pakistan at R.Premadasa Stadium, Colombo which has been won by Sri Lanka by 16 Runs and with this Sri Lanka is the first team to enter in the Final of Twenty20 World Cup 2012. The Second team will be decided in the today's match. A determined Australian outfit will be aiming to eliminate the `Chris Gayle factor` when they meet a rejuvenated West Indies in the semi-final of the ICC World Twenty20 here on Friday. For Australia, it will be a chance to get into the final for the second time in succession after the 2010 edition and once again stamp their class as world`s premier cricketing outfit.For West Indies, it`s more about the identity and trying to fight the inner demons which have affected their cricket since late 80`s.

Champions League Twenty20 Groups and Schedule of Matches

Your Wait is over.  The Champions League Twenty20 (Short term Cricket Game Twenty20 Matches) are going to be started in this month. The Matches are going to be started from September 23, 2011.  The entire tournament is under the joint administration of the cricketing boards of India (BCCI), Australia (CA) and South Africa (CSA). This year, India will play host to this prestigious event, as per the announcements of The International Cricket Council. This international league will consist of 23 T20 International matches that will be played during the period of September-October. This tournament also forms the past of the innovative Future Tour Programs that had been initiated by the ICC a few years back.


Overall, there will be 10 teams. Top club teams from India (Chennai Super Kings, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians), Australia (NSW Blues and South Australian Redbacks) and South Africa (Cape Cobras and Warriors) will battle it out in the preliminary stages. The remaining 3 teams will be decided after a qualifier between teams from the Caribbean, New Zealand, India, England and Sri Lanka. The teams have been categorized under 2 groups. The inaugural match will be played between Chevrolet Warriors and Royal Challengers Bangalore on September 23, at the prestigious M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore.

Champions League Twenty20 Teams with Squads

The Champions League Twenty20 matches are going to started from 23rd of September 2011. The defending champion of the competition is Chennai Super Kings. The addition of a six-team qualifier this year gives a record 13 teams to claim the CL T20 title. Three teams from the qualifier will progress to the group stage, where they will play four round matches before the top two teams in each group qualify for the semi-finals.



The qualifier will be played in Hyderabad from 19-21 September while the 10-team Champions League Twenty20 starts in Bengaluru on September 23 and ends with the final on October 9 in Chennai.
