Age Limit: Age limitation is not same for every posts. Candidates are required to go through notification page for detail. Age relaxation is applicable.

Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess the qualification of B.Sc Nursing for Nurse posts, 10+2 with Science/ Inter (Science), Degree in Physiotherapy for Physiotherapist posts, Bachelor degree in Economics/ Commerce/ Statistics, P.G degree/ diploma in Material Management for Store keeper posts, Master’s degree in Social Work/ Applied Sociology for Social Worker posts, Matriculation for Security Guard posts. Refer to notification page for post wise educational qualification.

Application Fee: General and other unreserved category candidates required to pay Rs. 1000/- as application fee, while SC/ST category candidates will have to pay Rs. 500/- as application fee.
Application fee should be paid using Challan in any Branch of State Bank of India in the “Power Jyoti” PUL current account of PGIMER.

Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER) Recruitment 2012-13

Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) invites applications from eligible candidates the post of Technician Grade-IV in various disciplines as mentioned below vide Advertisement No.: PGI/RC/011/2012 Dated: 18.09.2012. The interested candidates can apply On-line through the link provided on the official website of PGIMER at www.pgimer.nic.in. A written examination of all eligible candidates will be conducted by PGIMER the center of examination will be at Chandigarh only.  On the basis of written examination a merit will be prepared and based on this merit, candidates, four times of the vacancies advertised, will be required to apply again on a given format along with all the certificates/documents testimonials etc. Based on these documents supplied by the candidates, the scrutiny of the applications will be done and only those candidates who are found eligible after scrutiny will be called for interview. 1652 Posts in Directorate of Health Service West Bengal

The West Bengal health Services Nursing Branch, which comes under the complete administration and governance of Directorate of Health Services of West Bengal has notified about the second phase recruitment process. This recruitment 2012 process is to be held for filling up the vacancies for the post of staff nurse in the organization. These staff nurse posts are Grade 2 vacancies in Health Institutions of West Bengal Government. The candidates who are interested and are eligible to apply for the available posts may apply on or before the date 28th September 2012.
   
The Health Institutions of Government of West Bengal have invited applications from eligible and interested candidates for the second phase recruitment of Staff Nurse (Grade 2). The candidates may be from either government institutes or non-government institutes. The total number of vacancies that has been notified by the Directorate of Health Services West Bengal is 1652, which are meant to be divided as per the reservation categories. The distribution of the total number of vacancies is as follows:

37 out of the 528 vacancies which come under the general category vacancies have been fixed for PH candidates. 

The pay scale of the candidates would be of Band 3 structure. The salary that the candidates would withdraw would be Rs. 7100-37600 + Rs. 3600 grade pay with a minimum pay of Rs. 7680 of the basic. Apart from this salary structure, the candidates would also be receiving various benefits and allowances which would be as per the instructions of the government of the state, that is, Government of West Bengal.
The candidates are encouraged to apply for the available vacancies before the stipulated time.
   
The most primary and basic requirement to be eligible for the available vacancies is to have an Indian citizenship and there is an additional stipulation that the candidate should be a resident of the state of West Bengal. The age limit that has been set for the Staff Nurse vacancies is 18years to 35 years as on 1st January 2012. This age limit has to be strictly followed by the candidates belonging to the general category. The government of West Bengal has provided for relaxations for the upper age limit in case of the candidates who belong to the reserved categories.
   
The candidates should have a GNM certification from the Nursing Training Schools which are recognized by the Indian Nursing Council and West Bengal Nursing Council in or before the year 2011. The candidate should be having a registration authorized by the West Bengal Nursing Council.
The candidates need to comply with all the eligibility criteria that have been mentioned by the West Bengal government and the WB State Nursing Council.
  
After the candidates submit their applications and their candidature in the prescribed manner, their academic record and other criteria will be checked. Once the officials go through the details of the candidates, they will be preparing a provisional list of candidates, broadly on the basis of the marks which the candidates have achieved in their higher secondary school examination and during their GNM course duration. After the preparation of the provisional list, the candidates will have to go through a medical test and a process of document verification before they get the final selection intimation.
   
The candidates need to download the application form available on the website of the WB nursing council and they have to fill in all the required information as prescribed and attach all the necessary documents with it. This has to be sent to The Chairman, Recruitment Committee for the Recruitment of Staff Nurse Gr. II, Swasthya Bhawan, 1st Floor, Wing-A, GN-29, Sector-V, Salt Lake City, Kolkata -700 09 before the date 28/09/12.

The Commission under Section 86 of the EA 2003 undertakes various functions, such as, determination of tariff for generation, transmission and wheeling of electricity; bulk or retail supply of electricity, as the case may be, within the State of Maharashtra; regulate electricity purchase and procurement process of Distribution Licensees; issue Licenses for Transmission, Distribution, and Trading of electricity and promote generation /co-generation of electricity from renewable sources of energy. No traveling expense will be reimbursed by the MERC for attending the Written Test / Interview.
