CSIR- Central Glass & Ceramic Research Institute invites applications from eligible candidates for the Post of Technical Assistants / Technical Officers/ Sr. Technical Officers (Group III Staff) vide Advertisement No. 02/2012. The CSIR-CGCRI is 4th oldest Research and Development (R&D) Laboratory under the CSIR, DSIR, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. CSIR-CGCRI is dedicated to achieve scientific leadership in the area of advanced ceramics and speciality glasses (including fibre/fibre-based devices).
The description of Posts is as under :
- Technical Assistant: 08 Posts : UNRESERVED (UR)-03, SC-03 & OBC-02
- Technical Officer: 04 Posts : UNRESERVED (UR)-03, OBC-01
- Sr. Technical Officer(1) : 03 posts UNRESERVED (UR)
- Sr. Technical Officer (2): 01 Post UNRESERVED (UR)
HOW TO APPLY:
Application form may be downloaded from www.cgcri.res.in or may be obtained from the Recruitment & Assessment Section , Central Glass & Ceramic Research Institute, 196, Raja S. C. Mullick Road, Kolkata – 700032 in person or by sending a request along with a self-addressed envelope of the size 23x11 cms affixed with 10/- postage stamps. The complete application in all respects, signed and accompanied with self- attested copies of the certificates/testimonials in support of age, educational qualifications, experience, caste certificate (for SC/OBC candidates) etc. as mentioned in the application together with an application fee of ` 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) in the form of crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of “ CGCRI, Kolkata” payable at Kolkata preferably at SBI JU Branch Code No. 0093 should reach the Administrative Officer, Central Glass & Ceramic Research Institute, 196, Raja S. C. Mullick Road, Kolkata – 700032 on or before 01.05.2012. There is no application fee for SC candidates. Applications received after the due date will not be accepted. The envelope containing the application must be superscribed clearly, in Block letter, with Advertisement No., Name of the post along with its Post Code on the top left corner of the envelope.
The outstation candidates called for interview will be paid to and fro single Sleeper Class Rail fare/Ordinary Bus fare from the place of their present residence as declared in the application or from the actual place of undertaking the journey, whichever is nearer to the place of the interview as per rule.
