State Bank of India, Central Recruitment & Promotion Department invites applicaitons from the eligible candidates for the in Clerical Cadre as Assistans and Stenographers vide advertisement no. CRPD/CR/2011-12/5A. There are a total no of 9500 Posts out of which 1000 posts are for Stenographers (English - 900, Hindi- 100) and 8500 posts for Assistants (These includes 3100 posts already advertised dated 27.12.2011). The examination will be held on 27.05.2012 and 03.06.2012.

Start date of ONLINE Registration : 05.03.2012
Last date for ONLINE Registration : 26.03.2012
Age Limit : 18 to 28 years as on 01.12.2011.

The candidates who have Registered between 28.12.2011 to 20.01.2012 will be given one time EDIT option to change the choice of STATE and EXAMINATION CENTRE due to the revised vacancy schdule.
Before applying online a candidate will be required to have a scanned (digital) image of his/her photograph and signature. The dimension of Photograph should be 200x230 pixels and the size of file should be between 20KB to 50KB. And in case of Signature the dimension of image should be 140x60 pixels and the size of file should be between 10KB to 20KB.Your Online Application will not be registered unless you upload your photo and signature as specified.
