Staff Selection Commission has published the notice in the Employment News / Rozgar Samachar Dated
14.07.2012 regarding Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination 2012. The closing date to apply for this Examination is 10.08.2012 and the exam will be conducted on 21.10.2012 & 28.10.2012. Candidates who have completed 12th Standard Pass or its equivalent can apply for the recruitment for the post of Data Entry Operator and Lower Division Clerk for which Commission will hold a Combined All India Open Examination on the dates as mentioned above. The Examination will comprise of a Written Objective Type Examination followed by Data Entry Skill Test / Typing Test . Candidates are advised to to go through the eligibility conditions and other norms as prescribed by the SSC in the Notice which is also available at website of the Commission http://ssc.nic.in.
Application Fee : Rs. 100/-
(Fee is exempted for all Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation.)
Age Limit : A candidate must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 27 years as on 01.08.2012, for Data Entry Operator and Lower Division Clerk (i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1985 and not later than 01.08.1994)

Pay Scale : Rs.5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs.2400/- for DEO and Rs.1900/- for LDC.
Closing Date: 10.08.2012 (upto 5:00 P.M.). For candidates residing in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Jammu and Kashmir, Lahaul and Spiti District and Pangi Sub Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and for candidates residing abroad – 17.08.2012(upto 5:00 P.M.).
Candidates can apply in Off-Line and On-Line mode. For applying in Off-Line mode candidates have to download the prescribed Application format from the commissions website. On-Line Application will be available from 14.07.2012 to 08.08.2012 (5:00 P.M.) for Part-I Registration and and for Part-II Registration upto 10.08.2012 (5:00 PM). Candidates applying On-line will be provided a Registration Number which should be retained carefully by the candidates. The Commission may send emails/SMS to candidates regarding successful completion of Part-I and II registration of on-line application.
