Rajasthan Police has invited applications for 10000 posts of Constable (GD) and Constable (Driver) in its Department vide Advertisement No. 5(4)Po.Fo./Con.Rec./11/5152 dated 28.09.2012. The interested candidates can apply online through Rajcom Info Services Limited E-Mitra/ CSC Kiosks and Common Service Centre from 08.10. 2012. No other means/mode of application will be accepted by the Department. Before applying for these posts the candidates are advised to ensure their eligibility and other terms as prescribed in the police head office standing order no. 4/2012 which could be downloaded from the link given at the end of this post. The recruitment process of the suitable personnel in the Rajasthan Police Services at different levels takes place with respect to 4 cadres of the police department – Constable (General and RAC), Sub Inspector and Deputy SP. For the post of constables, each district of Rajasthan conducts separate selection examinations and procedures. But the selection for the post of SI and Dy. SP, the whole process is conducted by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission. Below are the latest recruitment details and important information.
The total number of vacancies that have been notified by the Rajasthan Police Department regarding these posts is 10000, which have been divided into the various streams in the Constable post as per requirements of the department. The various posts available with the department are – Constable, Constable (Operator), Constable (Driver), Constable (Bound) and Constable (Mounted). The total vacancies will also be divided on the basis of the reservation categories to which the candidates belong.
If Applicant is interested in constables i(Armed Police, RAC/M bBC ) post must be 10th or 8th class passed. But if interested in Constables (Operator) post must be completed 10+2 in Science with Physics and Maths from a recognized board.
Age Limit : Minimum age limit for constable job in Rajasthan Police is 18 and maximum 23 years. Upper age limit for Constable (Driver) is 26 years. If applicant belongs to reserved category will definitely get upper age relaxation benefits according to Government of India guidelines.
For male candidates minimum height should be 160 centimeters chest 74 centimeters (without expansion) 79 centimeters (with expansion). For female candidates height should be 145 centimeters and weight 43 kilograms.

Pay Scale : The pay scale of the candidates will be determined as per the policies and structure fixed by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (Rajasthan Police Department).The candidates will be provided with other allowances and benefits as per the instructions of the government.
Application Fee : The general and OBC candidates need to pay application fees of Rs. 200 and the SC/ST category candidates, who are bonafide of Rajasthan, will need to pay a fees of Rs. 150.
