Indian Army invites applications from eligible candidates for 117th Technical Graduate Course (TGC-117) July 2013 for grant of permanent commission in the Indian Army. The Registration process for ONLINE Application will start from 15th November 2012 and will close on 14th December 2012. No other means/mode of Application will be accepted by India Army. Candidates studying in the Final Year of Engineering Degree and who are qualified graduates of the Degree Course in Engineering will be eligible to apply. The qualified graduates of the Degree Course must possess Engineering Degree at the time of joining training. The candidates studying in the final year of Degree Course, if not already in possession of the Degree Certificate should be able to produce the Engineering Degree within 12 weeks from the date of commencement of training at IMA. MA/M.Sc Degree in 1st or 2nd division from a university recognized by AIU in English/Economics/History/Music/ Geography/Political Science / Physics and Math are eligible for Army Education Corps and For Military Farm. A degree in dairying or a degree in Agriculture from a recognized university with dairying as one of the subjects or an equivalent foreign qualification in Agriculture (Preference will be given to those who hold M.Sc degree or have carried out research in Dairying of Fodder Crops) (AI 105/61).. The stream wise vacancies are as under :
- 117th TGC : 60 posts in various Engineering Branches (Civil-19, Electrical-11 Mechanical-7, Production-2, Electronics -8, Communication/ Telecommunication -6, Architecture/ Building Construction Technology -3, Computer Science and Engg./ Computer Science / M.Sc. (Computer) - 2)
- TGC Army Education Corps : 18 posts (PG in English/ Economics/ History/ Geography/ Music/ Political Science -8, PG in Chinese/ Tibetan/ Burmese/ Pushto/ Dari and Arabic - 6, PG in Physics/ Maths - 4)
- TGC Military Farms : 06 posts (Degree in Dairying-3 Or Agriculture-3)
- For Engineering Graduates -20 to 27 yrs (Born between 02 Jul 86 and 01 Jul 93).
- For AEC - 23 to 27 yrs (Born between 02 Jul 86 and 01 Jul 90).
- For Military Farms - 20 to 27 yrs(Born not earlier than 02 Jul 86 and not after 01 Jul 93).
Candidates are advised to ensure their eligibility before applying. While filling the Application Form ONLINE candidates should keep relevant documents ready to fill the Form to avoid errors and rejection of Form at later stage. Fill the online registration form. Tips to assist in filling up fields have been provided as you click on each field. Before clicking the submit button it should be checked whether all details entered in the form are correct as you will not be able to make any corrections after saving the record. After submitting the form and acknowledgement of successful submission generated roll number and the buttons of print and save the application will appear. It is advisable to first save the online application and then take a print out.
After submitting online application, candidates are required to obtain two copies of the application printout. One copy of the print out application duly signed and affixed photograph attested by Gazzetted Officer there on and attested copies of 10th Class Certificate, 12th Class certificate alongwith Degree/ Provisional Degree of B.E/B.Tech or marksheets of eight semesters of B. E/B.Tech are to be sent by Regd Post to “Directorate General of Recruiting (Rtg-6), TGC, Sectlon, West Block-III, R.K. Puram, New Delhi-110066". The last date of receipt of such printouts of online applications is 31 Dec 2012 while forwarding these applications the words “Online application for TGC - 117 and the Roll No.............“must be written boldly outside the envelope. The second copy of the printout of online application form and all the above certificates in original along with two attested photocopies are to be carried to the selection Center by the candidate. Original will be returned after verification by the selection centers.
