Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MAHADISCOM) invites applications from eligible candidates for various posts of Engineers in it department. As the recruitment is done for the various posts of engineers the candidate must take care of the conditions of applying before moving further. Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MAHADISCOM) is the second largest company of electricity distribution, which distributes electricity for all regions of the state of Maharashtra except Mumbai. It is a PSU i.e. Public Sector undertaking whose control vests in the hands of Maharashtra Government. It has a large consumer base of more than one crore across the region of the state. The power sources of MAHADISCOM is non-conventional sources like solar, wind energy and the other sources like thermal hydro gas etc. The team of MAHADISCOM consists of more than 70,000 employees and well-trained engineers and they are the real possessions of the company.

The educational qualification required for these posts is that, the candidate must have a degree in the related field for assistant vigilance officer, for junior engineer post (civil) there should be diploma in civil engineering and for remaining posts bachelors degree in civil or electronic engineering. The eligibility criteria is been made as per the company’s instructions and will not be change subject to any other case.

Selection Procedure : The selection will be made on the basis of an online exam. The candidates who qualified the exam will then be called for the interview and group discussion. Candidates whose performance will be good in the interviews will be finally recruited. The selection procedure will not be change at any cost. There is no any other mode for being selected in this examination. Performance in the online exam will be the base for the interview and candidates failing in the exam will not be called for the interview. How to Apply : The desired candidates who want to appear in this examination have to fill the application form, which is online through the website of MAHADISCOM. The candidate have to take a print out of the filled form and have to sent till 22-12-2012 to the address P.O Box No. 8229, Dahisar (east) Mumbai-68. For unreserved category, the fee is Rs.500 and for the reserved category, it is Rs.250. The fee will be submitted in any of the branches of bank of Maharashtra with a service charge of Rs.10. The application form will be delivered in any branch of bank of Maharashtra in A/C NO. 20045003931 in lieu of Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited A/C.
