Staff Selection Commission (SSC), Government of India, invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police & CAPFS, Assistant Sub-Inspector in CISF & Intelligence Officer in NCB vide Notice No. FNo3/1/2013 P and P II. The notification in this regard has been published in the Employment News/Rozgar Samachar dated 16-03-2013 and on website ssc.nic.in. Commission will hold an All India Examination for recruitment to the post of Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police(DP) and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) , Assistant Sub-Inspectors in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and Intelligence Officer in Narcotics Control Bureau(NCB) . The interested candidates can apply in ONLINE and OFFLINE mode. To apply ONLINE candidates have to go through the link provided on the official website of SSC and also from the link given at the end of this post. For OFFLINE, the candidates can Download the prescribed Application from the SSC website. The ONLINE Registration process will be done in two Parts i.e Part-I and Part-II. In Part-I Registration, candidates will have to fill basic information. The candidates are advised to read the instructions carefully before making entry or selecting options. Candidates are also required to fill all the mandatory fields. The brief details are as under :

Age Limit : Desiring applicants 20 years and above up to the age of 25 years can apply for the post of a Sub-Inspector.
Educational Qualifications : Applicants carrying a Bachelor’s Degree from a Recognized University ir its equivalent can apply for the post of a Sub-Inspector. Candidates appearing in the Examination should have at least one Photo ID Card with them like as Driving License etc.
Selection Process : Applicants have to undergo a written exam for the post of Sub Inspector. The exam is competitive in nature. A physical test is also supposed to be clear to become eligible for the post. Document verification of all submitted papers is included in the selection process. A candidate has to undergo a medical test for this post. Last but not the least important is the interview which the candidate has to undergo for becoming a truly qualified sub inspector.
How to Apply : Both online and offline registration process is on for the post of Sub-Inspector. A person applying online can pay via a credit card offered by State Bank of India. Net Banking can be used to the same. One can also use a debit card for payment. Online forms can be submitted at www.ssconline.nic.in. Applications need to be submitted at the latest by 12th April, 2013. Application format is available for download on the internet. Offline forms can be forwarded to addresses given online. Information regarding certificates and other papers which need to be attached to the application form is also given online.
