Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, Intelligence Bureau (IB) invites applications from eligible candidates for the posts of Personal Assistant and Junior Intelligence Officer. The interested candidates can apply in ONLINE mode only through the link provided at the official website of Intelligence Bureau (IB). No other means/mode of application will be accepted. The candidates are advised to ensure their eligibility before applying for these posts. The selection of candidates will be made on their performance in written examination, language test, Stenography Test, personality test, documents verification and medical examination. Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit should not exceed 27 years as on 02-06-2014. Age relaxation is applicable as per the Government rules.
Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess the following qualification as mentioned below :
For Personal Assistant (PA) Posts: 10+2 with Stenography and also having knowledge of computer.
For Jr Intelligence Officer Posts: Matriculation with ITI.
Application Fee: General and other unreserved candidates are required to pay Rs. 50/- while SC/ ST/ Physically Handicapped/ Women/ Ex-Servicemen category candidates are exempted from paying application fee. Application fee should be paid by cash deposit (offline payment) at any branch of State Bank of Indian using the Challan form (available in Part II of the online application) or by using internet banking facility of State Bank of India or State Bank ATM-cum-Debit Card.
Pay Scale: Personal Asst: Pay scale Rs. 9300-34800/- Grade pay 4600.
Jr Intelligence Officer: Pay Scale 5200-20200/-.
How to Apply : The interested candidates who wish to apply for IB Personal Assistant and Junior Intelligence officer Posts in Intelligence Bureau, are required to apply through online mode on IB’s official website at www.mha.nic.in from 3rd May to 2nd June 2014. After filling online application candidates are required to take print out of the system generated online application form for further use. Before start applying online, candidates must have valid Email ID and scanned copy of Photograph & Signature.

- Find the link of “PA & Jr Intelligence Officer” and click on Apply Online.
- Now Read instructions and click on Part I of Application Form.
- Now fill all marked details and click on submit button.
- Once done with first part, now proceed to Part II of online application.
- Now make payment, Upload your Photograph & signature in the prescribed format & submit the error free application.
- At last, take print out of system generated application form for further use.
