Delhi Police invites applications from eligible candidates for the posts of Head Constable (Assistant Wireless Operator/Tele-Printer Operator) and Head Constable (Ministerial). The interested candidates can apply on the prescribed application format as published in the Employment News dated 26.01.2013. Candidates can also download the application form from the official website of Delhi Police at www.delhipolice.nic.in and www.delhipolicerecruitment.nic.in. Name of Post : Head Constable (AWO/TPO)
No. of Posts : 142 Posts (for Open Candidates) & 16 Posts (for Departmental Candidates)
Age Limit : 18 to 27 Years as on 01.01.2013.
(Relaxation in Age as per Rules)
Educational Qualifications: Candidates should have Passed 10+2 (Sr. Secondary) from a recognized Board with Science & Mathematics as subjects at the time of filling up of the application form .
OR
National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the trade of Mechanic-cum-operator Electronic Communication System.
Professional Attainments : Speed in English Typing on Computer 30 w.p.m. along with working knowledge of Computers.

No. of Posts : 96 Posts
Age Limit : 18 to 25 Years as on 01.01.2013.
(Relaxation in Age as per Rules)
Educational Qualifications: Candidates should have Passed 10+2 (Sr. Secondary) or equivalent from a recognized Board at the time of filling up of the application form .
Professional Attainments : Speed in English Typing on Computer 30 w.p.m. OR Speed in Hindi Typing on Computer 25 w.p.m.
Preference : Working knowledge of Accounts and Office Procedure.
Application Fees : Rs. 100/- in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of DCP/Recruitment Cell, New Police Lines, Delhi. SC/ST and ex-serviceman Candidates are exempted of Fee.
