Municipal Corporation Chandigarh invites applications from eligible candidates for the posts as mentioned below. The interested candidates can apply in ONLINE mode only through the link provided on the official website of Municipal Corporation. The brief details are as under :

- Junior Engineer (Civil): 09 Posts
- Junior Engineer (Electrical): 02 Posts
- Junior Engineer (P.H): 13 Posts
- Sanitary Inspector: 04 Posts
- Draftsman: 09 Posts
- Jr. Draftsman: 13 Posts.
(Age relaxations will be extended as per rules)
Educational Qualifications: Degree in Engg/ Diploma/ Graduate/ Matric in relevant field from recognized University with relevant experience as mentioned in the notification. Please refer notification for post-wise required qualification details.
Application Fee: Rs. 250/- in case of SC category, Rs. 500/- in case of other category, PH persons are exempted from application fee will be payable through Challan, generated after online filling of application.
PROCEDURE FOR SUBMISSION OF ONLINE APPLICATIONS
a. The detailed advertisement and information booklet is available on the website http://recruitment.cdacmohali.in and www.mcchandigarh.nic.in .
b. Applications will be accepted online (only) from 07.01.2013 to 20.02.2013 on the websitehttp://recruitment.cdacmohali.in. No application shall be entertained by hand or by post in the Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh.
c. Fill out the form available on the website http://recruitment.cdacmohali.in by clicking at the link “Recruitment in MUNICIPAL CORPORATION, CHANDIGARH”.
d. The applicants required to bring a hard copy of application submitted through Online alongwith admit card duly pasted recent passport size photograph at the time of written examination.
e. Any correction in the particulars can be made by the candidate himself/herself on the website up to 20.02.2013__ upto 5:00 P.M. For this purpose, the candidate has to log in by entering his/ her registration number and password. No correction can be made by the candidate after the closing date.
f. After the registration number is generated, the candidates are required to take printout 2 copies of the filled form and the application form having registration number, password that needs to be remembered and has to be kept secret by the candidate to view or edit the application form in future.
g. Application fees (non-refundable) amounting to as shown below will be payable through challan, generated after online filling of application. Candidates belonging to SC category must ensure that they have valid caste certificate issued by the competent authority. In case, at the time of verification of documents, it is found that the certificate is not valid, their candidature will be rejected. Such candidate will not be considered under General category as they have not paid fees applicable for candidates of General category.

• Physically handicapped persons are exempted from application fee.
h. All the updates information and notices will be uploaded on the website mentioned above. Thus, the candidates are advised to visit the website on regular basis. No separate information generally be sent through post or other means. Any information that is uploaded on the above mentioned website will be deemed to have reached the candidates and responsibility for not visiting the site and responding thereto in time, will be entirely by the Candidates.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTION/ INFORMATION FOR APPLYING ONLINE
1. Candidate has to apply through online only.
2.Fill up the form available on the site http://recruitment.cdacmohali.in On successful submission of form candidates are required to take the print out which will have registration no printed on it and print out of the form is to be retained by the candidate for any further process.
3. Every successful registration will be allotted the Registration no. printed on the acknowledgement slip containing the detail of amount to be deposited by the candidate in the CDAC Mohali Application Fee Account, Current Account No. 911020028486199 AXIS BANK mentioning registration number and name in the bank narration.
4. Thereafter the candidate shall have to report to the designated banker(AXIS Bank) along-with the downloaded Acknowledgement Slip cum Fee Chalan for depositing the fee.
5. In case the candidate fails to deposit the fee, his /her application shall stand automatically cancelled /rejected and shall not be considered for further processing.

7. Only On-line registered application forms will be entertained i.e. applications sent by post / in person will not be entertained.
